I put this detergent thru a true test when we kitten sat recently and these cute little kittens marked and sprayed their urine all over my dog’s bed. I mean….these dudes soaked it! If you’re reading this and you know that smell you’re gagging. I put it in the machine and washed it twice. Smell gone. This is a heavy Cordaroy’s dog bed with waterproof liner. I’m serious, it got the pee smell out. The double wash was because this was a huge amount of urine and I didn’t want to put it thru the dryer and chance that it wasn’t completely out. I’ve washed several loads with this product by now. It performs just as well as the previous chemical ridden goo I used to use, but with less harmful ingredients. The scent is very minimal and after the dryer, you can’t smell it at all. It dissolves without issue in any temperature and does not leave any residue. I use additional stain treatment for tough stains, but it works well for light to regularly soiled clothing. Does well for my children with sensitive skin.

I’ve been wanting to switch out my household cleaners to more nontoxic ones and laundry detergent was top of that list. I noticed name brand detergents the scents were too strong felt like I couldn’t breathe anymore plus the ingredient list are horrible. I came across Molly and decided to try them and I love! I tried the liquid at first and while that was great it didn’t go very far the powder is the way to go. The only downside is the do use essential oils which that’s great but not knowing the source of those can be a bit trick in knowing if they are really clean or not but it’s still a much better option and you can get unscented if you want. We have the lavender scent right now and it’s smells amazing not overpowering just enough when you wash them you can barely smell. I haven’t had a issue with dissolving either I was worried about that since we wash with cold water only but I just add a scoop inside my top loader washer before throwing our clothes in and it’s always dissolved. So happy to finally have a clean detergent and I can know that what I’m using is safer than what is being sold commercially I just hope they stay true to clean products.
