This product really does work! I put it to the test by dropping onion peelings, potato peelings and food scraps in the trash can. It has been 4 days and when the lid is opened – you don’t smell any foul odor at all! Yes, it really does work and controls unpleasant oders especially in the kitchen trash can. I will keep using this product in the future.

Adhere it properly to clean lid and will stick. Does eliminate embarassing odor of wet adult disposable underwear. But feel over priced for pack of just 2.

I had high hopes based on other’s reviews. Unfortunately, this product fell way short of its promises. First of all, it wouldn’t stick to the inside lid of my kitchen garbage pail. That was annoying, but I just stuck it to the bottom instead. It didn’t remove odors AT ALL. I even took the second charcoal pad and stuck along with the other one hoping two together would work. No such luck. I have an automatic garbage can that opens every time the sensor senses movement – like me walking by – and it still smells horrible when it opens. I clean the can on a regular basis and toss in the outside trash can often. This item did absolutely nothing. Waste of money in my opinion.

I ordered the trash can deodorizer odor elimanator because I had to move my garbage can into the garage to keep raccoons out of the garbage. I wasn’t sure these would work but I couldn’t stand the smell of the garbage in the heat of summer. I am so impressed with how these work, if you need something to eliminate ordors in your garbage can, try this product.

Update: Not only am I sticking by my original review (it seriously saved me from wanting to throw up every time the can was opened!), but my cloth diaper can has no smell whatsoever. Forgot to take the liner out last week on the regular day for washing so I let it pile up all week this week too and even two week old full diapers don’t smell. Yay!!!
I was happily surprised at how well these worked. I was skeptical but willing to try anything. I stuck it in the lid of a trash can containing postpartum nastiness. Seriously. Nasty gross smell. Something so beautiful shouldn’t smell so terrible, but it does. And this took care of the smell that would waft out and make you want to puke every time it was opened. No more puke inducing smell=a much happier new mom. I’ll be continuing to use it in the trash can to use for cloth diapers. Very happy with this purchase!!
