I have taken glucosamine sulfate for over 20 years. I believe this is one reason why despite running, exercising, and lifting intensely multiple times a week for this time, I have no joint problems. I do other things too of course (including taking other supplements), but I can’t help but wonder if glucosamine doesn’t play a role.
Glucosamine has also been shown to have potential longevity benefits. The researcher who did the study even started taking it after the study because the results were so signficant.
This formula contains the superior sulfate form of glucosamine. Glucosamine HCL is cheaper, but hasn’t shown to be as effective in studies. I never use the HCL form.
This formula also contains chondroitin, which has been shown to have joint health benefits.
This company claims third-party testing and also transparent labeling, which are both good things and signs of a quality company.
