Updated: While I didn’t love this product, the customer service was great. The brand reached out to me immediately and offered a full refund so I gave them an extra star for that! I previously bought 2 other items from this brand so hopefully they will not be as strongly scented.

I really wanted to love this because of all that I have heard, but it is just too heavily perfumed! This is the first multi-balm that I have used so I do not have a lot to compare to. As a moisture balm, I think it is pretty good, but the scent is so strong. I would not be bothered as much if it were the scent of natural ingredients, but it just smells like a very strong perfume. I have not dared to use it on my face. I have only used it on my neck and hands. I put it on my hands at night and even then, I can smell the scent. Sometimes it makes me sneeze, and it does not fade fast. I would definitely recommend going with another multi-balm that is less fragranced.

One of my favorite skin care products is the D’alba double layered serum, which I use on a regular basis, especially during the dry fall and winter. I was so excited to find a balm stick version of the serum, which is really nice especially in the hot summer when the serum may feel like a little too much. The balm stick is nice because you can moisturize targeted areas. It packs in the moisture where you need it without being overwhelming. I use it around my eyes and on my smile lines. I love the light scent and the consistency of the balm, as well as how it feels on my skin. It’s not sticky or greasy like some products and makes my skin silky smooth. I have very sensitive skin so I’m prone to breakouts if a product is too oily but I had no problem with this serum balm stick. Contrary to what some reviews are saying, I found that it absorbs pretty quickly and makes your skin hydrated just where you want it. Highly recommend!

I wanted to love this.. and it does work well so I’m still using it. But the scent is quite strong (heavy floral) so if you’re not into that, then maybe pass. It would be great if they had other scent or unscented options.

d’Alba products are great and very hydrating, but not oily. I am using the double serum and cream, all-in-one multibalm and first spray serum. Works well under makeup also. Love them all.

I truly love this serum balm and wish I found it sooner. It feels amazing on the skin, and silky smooth when I pat it in.
I’ve been using every morning before an illuminating serum and even with it being a balm, it doesn’t leave me oily in my t-zone, which I’m prone to with certain products.
Being a balm you’d think it would be heavy but it’s surprisingly light while still feeling very bougie and giving good moisture.
Initially I was disappointed how small it was, but a little goes a long way and it’s lasting. So it doesn’t seem like a good value at first glance, but with many applications it still doesn’t look like I’ve used much at all.
I love that it’s a stick with a lid that stays on well. When I travel next that is one less product to worry about breaking or leaking.
