I got this to help make sure I was getting the vitamins and minerals I need, as I don’t always have time to eat as I should, and this product definitely fit the bill. It was very easy to take with no bad aftertaste and helped me keep myself healthy.

Fairly large capsules, I think they’re 00 size, about 23x8mm. I think the veggie capsules are a little larger.
The vegetable bottle had a noticeable odor, but the fruit did not.
The powders themselves have a slight peppery taste, and leave pepper feel on the tongue. The fruit tastes of strawberry, and tomato.
I found the pepper effect much stronger in the veggies capsule, it even affected my nasal passages. The veggie powder tastes a bit like kale powder with other spices. I think the cayenne pepper might be giving it that extra kick.
You could probably mix the powders with food if the flavor doesn’t conflict too much, and you like it a little spicy.
I haven’t noticed any problems taking the 6 pills all at once. Sometimes I get a bad feel in the esophagus from powder pills, but these don’t seem to trigger anything.
On the other end they’re about like having had a spicy meal.

Taking something like this is not for the weak LOL. Make sure you’re near a toilet within 4 hours of taking. For me, it worked great to cleanse and reboot my system! Love them and would recommend 100 times

It’s way easier and faster to take these than get all the micronutrients needed in the real stuff! As much as I like eating – who has the time? These are great and give me some of the micronutrients I do need. I just cannot get enough from real fruits and vegetables. I can’t digest it all that quickly! These are easy to swallow and I haven’t had any issues.

The review is for Fruits and Veggies Whole Food Supplement with Superfood Fruits and Vegetables by Clear Formulas. I am always reluctant to trust products where too many buzz-words are peppered around. As such, I am looking for additional indications the product might be a good and trustworthy one. Clear Formulas is a less known brand. We are told the product is manufactured in an FDA inspected, GMP certified facility. While the label does not specifically state “Made in the USA”, you are let to believe that FDA inspected facilities are only found in the US where FDA has direct “jurisdiction”. Still, foreign facilities can also submit an FDA registration request and only provide an email address of the US agent for the facility. The serving size for this supplement is 3 pills per day and while the composition looks great, it is up to you to decide if you want to use this product. Clear Formulas apparently market their supplements under various brand names such as Thorne, Integrative Therapeutics and others as per their website (just add .com after the full name with no spaces). I could not locate any address for this company.

No weird aftertaste and doesn’t make me feel bad. I only do one capsule a day instead of the full dosage, but I think it is a good addition to all the other supplements I take.

No funny tasting burps or anything like that. It’s a lot of pills to swallow, but my husband generally eats like a 8 year old otherwise (PB&J, snack cakes, chips for lunch and rather small portions for dinner that is normally homemade but not particularly health conscious fare). This was a means for me to get him to have more fruits/veggies in his diet in a way he would keep up with. He doesn’t mind the quantity of pills, and has commented that he does seem to have more energy since he started taking them. No negative side effects. So even if it is placebo effect, I mean… It isn’t doing any harm, so why not?
