I take a lot of supplements in the morning and always need to find Omega-3 fish oil capsules with high quality and 3rd party testing. These are about twice the size of my Vitamin D gel style capsules I take, so they are not huge like a lot of ones I have had before. They go down easy and there is no after taste. There is over 1000mg inside the 2 capsule dose and you can only take 500mg with one capsules if needed.
These are like most all supplements, in that you have to trust the manufacturer that the product is as stated and then hope that you are getting benefits from taking them. These are 3rd party tested through IFOS.

Omega 3’s have a ton of health benefits and I particularly like the effect is has on eyes. I’ve been taking a different brand for over a year, but decided to try these since they were offered to me. They have slightly less omega 3 at 1000mg vs the 1200mg that I’m used to. However for a 60 day supply this brand is charging $58.99 on sale and lists it as $70 regular. I can get around that amount for almost half the price from my favorite brand, and the mg is higher.
There is nothing wrong with this brand if you like it, but for me the value is just not there. Otherwise it is a good standard Omega 3 supplement.

My family has been consuming fish oil for six years now, and this brand surpasses any we’ve ever tried. They’re confident enough to provide test reports for their fish oil and its sourcing. I’ve been taking a well known brand of fish oil for years, but these are much higher in fish oil and have much better documentation of sourcing and materials. They truly are burpless, which many others aren’t even though they claim to be. The capsules are small and have no smell or taste. I really like that they’re sustainably sourced from smaller fish, so there is less chance of anything I don’t want getting into my fish oil.
They don’t contain empty fillers or anything except for vitamin E to preserve them, which is also a plus. Good fish oil is a pricey product, but I don’t think the price of this one is out of line at all. I don’t give many five star reviews, but felt this product deserved one, for its transparency, as well as for its product.

This is an omega-3 fish oil [FO] processed by KD-Pharma Bexbach GMBH of Germany under HACCP and ISO 22000 food safety (Norway) and GMP manufacturing (Germany) certificates. It is sourced to the labeller Daiken Biomedical Co. of Taiwan (d/b/a Dayan Biomedical Co.), which sells it here through its FBA’s storefront.
FORMULATION — Each capsule contains 228 mg of EPA; 192 mg of DHA; 24 mg of other omega-3s; and 1.3 g of total fat (none saturated). The label for the identical product Daiken sells in Taiwan also indicates 300 g of total carbohydrates, and 2 g of sodium. The ratio of EPA+DHA to total omega-3s is a whopping 95%. This FO provides the re-esterified triglyceride [rTG] form of omega-3s (rTGs are formed by the conversion of ethyl esters back to triglycerides). Though rTGs omega-3s, natural TGs, and free fatty acids have more bioavailability than synthetized ethyl esters, all forms significantly increase EPA and DHA levels in blood. Daiken introduced in the market this FO in March 2022 — one of my figures shows part of the testing results of one such batch, which has an expiration date of March 2024. The quality of the sourced oil is impressive. The pharmaceutical grade FOs are marketed as having 80 to 90 % of total omega-3s, and this one is 84%.
PRICING — FO is not inexpensive, and an informed method of brand comparison is useful for any long-term daily supplementation. The brands have a wide price range, and the different amounts of omega-3s, serving size doses, capsules per bottle make comparisons rather difficult. My second figure is a table with price parameters of ten FO brands (anonymized as brands ‘A’ through ‘J’ in the table), which were the first to appear when I made an Amazon search for “EPA DHA rTG fish oil”. Blue font values are averages of these brands’ parameters. The table also shows the same parameters for the Daiken FO in red font at the right-most column. By and large, this product comes out poorly in the various price metrics. Daiken FO has less EPA per capsule than any of the brands, as well as less DHA than the average, for a high price. It is at the highest end of metrics of price per bottle, per capsule count, per day, and per mg of EPA plus DHA per capsule. German quality often comes at a cost. But not necessarily as high as this one: the brands ‘I’ and ‘J’ also use the KD-Pür oil of KD-Pharma, and one of them is the least expensive of the group while the cost of the other is in the middle of the group’s price range.
DOSAGE & SIDE EFFECTS — All serving suggestions are arbitrary as omega-3s Daily Values have not been established in the US. The European Food Safety Authority considers long-term supplementations with EPA and DHA to be safe at a combined dose of up to about 5 g/day. Similarly, the FDA has concluded that supplements providing no more than 5 g/day of EPA and DHA are safe when used as recommended. The most commonly reported side effects of omega-3 supplements are usually mild, and include unpleasant taste, bad breath, gastrointestinal discomfort, heartburn, nausea, diarrhea, and smelly sweat, and seem the more common the smaller the omega-3s to fish oil ratio is.

This fish oil supplement appears to be made of EPA & DHA from triglycerides which in my research is a superior and less common form of the oils. The capsules are somewhat small and easy to swallow for me. In my experience these have little to no fishy flavor that comes back up into my mouth later so that claim checks out. I like these and feel that they are high quality and can say that my experience taking them has been positive.
