I bought D-mannose for my 6 yr old male cat, who has had feline lower urinary tract disease. He has had kidney stones, and repeated UTIs, has been on antibiotics many times for this. After 2 courses in June, he was still urinating blood. He also sprays pee in the house whenever he’s stressed, as when he sees a neighbor cat in the yard through the window, and when in pain with these UTIs. I read about D-mannose for human bladder conditions, also read several recommendations by holistic veterinarians for D-mannose use in cats, so I immediately ordered some for him. He’s been on 1/4tsp in 2cc water, syringed slowly into his mouth every day for a week, And he takes it fine. Not only has he been urinating without pain, his urine become clear again, and most amazingly, he has not marked anything with pee the entire week! If this continues, I will be telling everyone with kitty bladder or spraying issues about D-mannose! I’m very impressed after just 1 week! This may be the answer to my prayers! I love him like a son, and hated to see him in pain with bladder sediment and infections! And the spraying has been no fun! I couldn’t part with him, but the spraying has meant living with pee pads taped all over the furniture and walls, which is embarrassing and hard to live with! It’s great for kidney health,UTI the works it keeps bacteria out, it dissolves easy has no flavor or smell it’s a great value for your money I give this to my 9year old granddaughter as well zero side effects will reorder

I have to intermittently cath each day and so I tend to run UTI’s frequently, which is a constant problem. I rely on D-Mannose to help keep those under control. After trying more expensive D-Mannose products by Pure Encapsulations, Progressive Labs, and Vibrant health, most recently I had been using the NOW brand. However the NOW brand has been less effective lately so I decided to try this. So far it has been working better and it even costs less (both are the same price but the Nutricost is 3.52 ounces VS. the NOW’s 3 ounces).
What is D-Mannose? (Feel free to skip this part if you know all this) D-Mannose is a sugar that is derived from fruits like cranberries, peaches, etc. and starchy vegetables like corn and potatoes. You mix the powder in a bit of water and drink (I do not recommend using juice). The powder is flavorless, but may add a bit of sweetness to the water. Once it reaches your bladder, the D-Mannose “sticks” to the bacteria and the resulting union gets flushed out.
Notice I said “sticks” – D-Mannose will not KILL the bacteria like an antibiotic. Also note that D-Mannose will only work for certain types of UTI bacteria – mainly e-coli. Therefore if you try this and it does not help, you may still need to consult your urologist or GP for further help with your UTI.
Otherwise I have noticed less urgency and bladder irritation with this product VS. the others I’ve tried. Whether that will remain the case, we shall see. But so far I like it better and have already ordered it a 2nd time.
Final thing to Note: most D-Mannose is derived from (usually non-GMO) corn. If you have a corn allergy, please check with them and/or your doctor first, to make sure this will be suitable for you. Best of luck if you decide to try this one.

This is the perfect D-mannose powder. Absolutely no flavor but for a slight, pleasant sweetness when you use a full scoop, and it dissolves immediately upon contact with water. You don’t even have to dirty a spoon to stir it up, that’s how easily it dissolves. For months, I had been painstakingly breaking open capsules and mixing them into applesauce (I can’t take pills bigger than a Claritin… Advil if I’m lucky) and this is so much easier. And cheaper! No D-mannose product is going to taste particularly bad unless you really hate cranberry, but if you want to make it as convenient and unobtrusive as possible, get this one.

De verdad si vienes buscando algo para cistitis o cistitis de repetición, no lo dudes, yo llevo años tomando antibiótico para varios bichos en orina desde ecolli hasta Klebsella, siempre tratados con antibiótico y aun así al poco tiene volvían, me recomendaron demanosa y wow

Esto funciona pero convinalo con una buena dieta, olvídate de bebidas irritantes, la demanosa NO mata las bacterias solo las despega de la vejiga así q a la hora después de tomar la demanosa debes ir y hacer pis para ayudar a sacarlas

Me gusto mucho más que las cápsulas. Ya llevaba 2 meses tomando d mannose y como aquí la porción de gramaje es mayor, sentí mucho más saludable y fuerte mi salud urinaria.

Just received this so my opinion is not based on the actual use of the product. However, my container came without a scoop. It was also half full. I assume that is because of settling of the powder but I am not sure since no scoop to assess the “serving size.”

WOW! Just WOW! I usually get my package from Amazon, and move on with it, but this one prompted me to write a review. I’m a 23 yr old female who has been suffering from reoccurring UTIs for months. I’ve been on antibiotics, finished them then a couple weeks later, boom another one. I’ve tried EVERYTHING. I live a healthy lifestyle, everything is physically normal but I just kept getting them. The last one I got really frustrated me. My through were, WHY DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING? No one wants to be dealing with a UTI constantly. The burning, the pressure, the frequency. No one wants to be on antibiotics constantly. During my research into at home treatments for UTIs I came across information for D Mannose. I read into it and was amazed, I thought, no way can this actually work the way people says it does. Let me let you in on a secret IT DOES!!!!!! The next morning I went to every store, the grocery store, CVS, Walgreens, Walmart; No one carried it. I order this one online and got it the next day. I started it ASAP. After 3 doses I went to the bathroom & screamed to my husband “YOULL NEVER BELIEVE THIS”. I truly felt 100000% better, like better than before getting this last UTI. I seriously forgot how good it feels to urinate without any burning associated with it! Anyways, all I’m saying is I’m so excited to continue this product. I don’t know why more people aren’t talking about this. Please, if you suffer from reoccurring UTIs and you’re just as frustrated as I was; do yourself a favor and start D Mannose ASAP!!
