Let me start by saying, I hardly EVER write reviews, this may be like the 5th one, in my entire life, lol (seriously). But, I felt this was important. Let me start by saying, DMannose is a sugar. If you are diabetic it will raise your sugar, if it does not raise your sugar, it’s not a good product. I appreciate this product, so much, I was willing to adjust my meds to continue taking it. I, over the last few years, started having VERY frequent UTIs, which were becoming resistant to most antibiotics. It got to a point, where I had to go to the doctors office, for 3 days to get antibiotic injections. [Just a side note, for those yeast and BV infections, antibiotics may cause, the best thing to use is boric acid (suppositories), it works better than any medication]. Anyway, having to get the injections, terrified me! I’m a former nurse, so I imagined all the worst case scenarios. I mean, what course of action, would be next, when I became, resistant to this antibiotic, as well? I will point out, that yes, I did see a Urologist, who, after several tests and procedures, had no answers, for me. So, I got online and began to do research. The first few brands, didn’t help, at all. But, I kept trying. A couple of brands, helped moderately, but, Amazon, lost my order. So I started looking for another brand, and came across this one. I had read numerous reviews, on other brands, in which, people said, it had actually, cured their UTI. I wasn’t that lucky. Until, I found this brand. Now, it didn’t just clear up in a couple of days, like some other reviews I had read. It took about four days of taking 3 pills, every 2-3 hours. However, I did notice a little decrease in pain, and a small decrease in urgency, after a couple of days, so I pressed on. I take it twice a day, now, and haven’t had a UTI since! If I feel any burning, (not an infection, yet) I increase my dose for a couple of days, and it clears up. The capsules may be a little large, for some people to swallow, but you can just open it up and pour it into a little water or juice, easy peasy. Lol. (And no yeast or BV infections!) I really, truly, hope this helps someone.

I‘ve had 6 UTIs during the past 6 months. I started taking D-Mannose about 2 months ago, and have had three UTIs since then. I’m giving it a chance to “kick in”, and my urologist had put me on another medication, so I’m hoping the combination will work. I drink about 60 oz. of water, and another 20-30 oz of other liquids each day. As for ingredient quality, and taste, I don’t know. Taste has nothing to do with its effectiveness.

I began taking this about a week after I had finished taking a round of antibiotics for a terrible kidney Infection. After I had finished the antibiotics, I still didn’t feel like the infection was completely gone, so I ordered this from Amazon. I took this a full month and actually ordered another bottle, because I thought the symptoms I was starting to have was due to a UTI. I had cloudy urine and a little bit of burn in the mornings, but then it would clear up throughout the day. I went to my Obgyn and had a culture done, and she said I didn’t have an infection. A week later I went to my PCP and she did a UA and a Culture. The UA showed Leukocytes and trace of blood, so she started me on an antibiotics until the culture came back with no infection. She said I had some normal bacteria present that is normal to some degree inside and outside the urinary tract. At that point it dawned on me that the D-Mannose was attaching to the bacteria and being excreted out through the urine. I had been taking the D-Mannose at night; So, the next morning, when I would go to the restroom, it would be cloudy. Once I stopped taking the D-Mannose the cloudy urine stopped as well. SOOO, with all this being said, the product really works by removing bacteria!! Just be aware of the possible side effects from the supplement that acts like a UTI. You can tell the difference though, because the cloudy urine will decrease throughout the day and there is no foul smell present in the urine. I hope this helps!

These are great and they work really well. If I feel irritated at all I’ll take one and it goes away within a day and drinking lots of water. Great product, must have.

In the year 2020, I had had repeated utis (like, 1 every 3-4 months). I had like 3 in one year! I was DESPERATE for a solution! And then I found THESE! To me, they are like a “miracle cure”. NO U.T.I.’s ever since beginning these. Furthermore, I’ve noticed my appetite has somewhat decreased (helping me to shed some weight), not to mention that I’ve noticed it “moistens” the area down there and somewhat increases sex drive. Going through peri-menopause, I used to be dry as a bone down there (probably why I kept getting repeated u.t.i.s to begin with!) But these pills somehow “moisten” the area down there and increase sex drive. When I look at the area down there with a mirror, it now looks all nice, healthy, pink and moistened, instead of red/dry/inflamed and/or with a huge white spot near my uretha. One time, I started getting what I “thought” were minor u.t.i. symptoms, I immediately took 2 pills of these and the “symptoms” magically disappeared! Wow! This is my new go-to! 😉
