Time will tell if I see results from this oil however, the oil itself seems to be of good quality, low odor, easy to use and a good value based on how little I need to use.
I love that the oil is not heavy in any way and absorbs in very quickly into my skin and especially like that it does not take much oil to cover my target areas with my chin and upper lip. I am hopeful to see some benefits over the next few months.

I was intrigued when I came upon this product, and did a little research on Cyperus Rotondus oil. It is believed to work by blocking the androgens responsible for hair production and has been used for decades for this purpose. Some of them are formulated to be ingested; this product is meant to be used topically only, which I vastly prefer to keep possible side effects to a minimum. The oil is said to be equivalent in testing to the results seen with the Alexandrite laser therapy treatment! Since this oil is significantly cheaper than even a single laser treatment might be, I thought ‘what have I got to lose?’
The oil, which comes in an amber bottle with an eye dropper included, has a very light woodsy or musky scent that is not at all offensive. It’s easy to dispense a few drops on my legs after shaving, and it smooths on beautifully. I actually expected the oil to sit on my legs for a time, but was pleasantly surprised that it absorbed quite well and I was able to add a moisturizing lotion over top before bed. The oil itself it quite moisturizing too, and I probably could go with it and nothing else, but … habit. I have been using a diamond crystal hair removal tool every night before bed as well, which has really kept the hair growth down, so it’s hard to say how well the oil is working for its intended purpose. I think I’d probably have to use it for a month or more before I’d notice any real difference in grow back anyway. Based on the clinical studies though, I will probably continue to use this oil in hopes it will stop the growth of hair on my legs. Just be careful to wash your hands after using it; you don’t want to absentmindedly run your fingers over your scalp!

I had never heard of this type of oil before but thought I’d give it a try because I’m always looking for ways to lessen hair growth on different parts of my body. The bottle and dropper and nice and work great. There’s no scent, which I prefer when it comes to these types of spot specific oils, so that’s nice. It absorbs really quick and leaves no residue, oily or sticky feeling in the area which is also nice. I haven’t had any reactions, rashes or issues at all where I’ve been applying it. I’m still in my first month of using it so I can’t say whether or not it’s really helping with reducing the amount or volume of hair I have, but I will continue using it to see how it does in the next few months.
I will say I’m not a fan of the photo in the listing showing a man’s hairy legs as the before photo and woman’s legs without a hair in sight as the after photo… things like that just make the item seem like a gimmick in my opinion.
Overall, it’s a nice oil and I haven’t had any reactions or issues from using it.
