I try many (new to me) different physical sunscreens throughout the year. Some are better than others for my skin type, and they tend to vary a lot in regards to cosmetic elegance. Many sunscreens can do the job, but if they don’t fit into your every day routine due to their consistency, smell, sheen, price, etc, you won’t use them every day like you are supposed to. In the past year or two, I have noticed a push by manufacturers to start delivering more cosmetically elegant physical sunscreens, which is most welcome by me! Having not tried a Curology branded product before, I was interested to see what this would deliver, and if it would be something I would enjoy wearing, while still being at an extremely accessible price point. The overwhelming answer is YES! Firstly, I have dehydrated skin, and while I need physical sunscreen due to sensitivities, physical sunscreen can often be extremely drying. Curology’s Everyday Sunscreen SPF30 was not at all drying. For me, it felt better when applied after a moisturizer, but it also did not feel drying without it (just more comfortable and dewy with it). The texture is nice- it is not as thin as a serum sunscreen, but it spreads easily and evenly across the face, and does not feel “heavy”. I appreciate that this sunscreen does not have a scent. The packaging is smart- a squeezable tube with a pump and cap attached. This way, when the pump inevitably breaks, you can still unscrew the cap and squeeze out what you need, without contaminating the rest. Most sunscreens developed for the face range between 1-1.7 oz, so it is incredible to see that Curology is giving us a generous 2 oz of product for an amazing price. Seriously, I think the price on this is lower than just about any other brand you could buy at the drugstore, and it seems nicer too. Truly, I am a convert, and I’m interested to see what other products Curology has that can assist my middle aged skin. Keep in mind, this is an everyday sunscreen, not one developed for swimming and beaching. As I am trying this product out during the winter in New England, I do not know how it would perform in intense heat or humidity, but I have high expectations for it. Most of my daily “go-to” sunscreen products cost 2-3x what this costs, so it is saying a lot that I have given this product a 5 star rating. I think the value for money is truly outstanding for this sunscreen!

This is a great everyday mineral sunscreen. I never wear anything under SPF 30. This zinc oxide powered sunscreen cream goes on smoothly. I apply after washing and moisturizing. It does not feel heavy or clog pores. Makeup goes on well over it. No scent, which is a plus.

From a pale Ginger who has sensitive skin look no further!! I have tried and/or my mom has put sunscreen on me my whole life. I have never liked having to put sunscreen on. I hate the smell, the feeling, that it runs into my eyes, how many times every hour you have to reapply it, and I could go on.
This sunscreen is not like any other!!! It doesn’t run into my eyes, it doesn’t make me feel greasy or leave a rescue on my face. It’s easy to rub in and it absorbs into the skin so nicely. You don’t even have to reapply as much as regular sunscreen, at least I did not have any issues.
My husband and I went to a Pro Baseball game and was out in the sun all day. I only reapplied once and that was just for good measure. I honestly think I didn’t even need that second application. It kept me from getting burnt or even pink/red.
The picture shown is my shoulder which did not have the sunscreen on them. I was outside gardening with my mother in law and wasn’t thinking, forgot about my shoulders. But what I applied to my face was not burnt at all. You need this sunscreen. It’s good for adults and babies of all ages but of course always ask a physician if you have questions. But this you will not regret it!! It doesn’t take that much product to do the job so it last longer. I got 3 tube’s and I am still halfway through the first one that my husband and I share.
