I’m very pleased with this luxury skincare set.
The products all have fragrance added. However, I don’t mind the scents – they’re all pleasant, and the scent isn’t noticeable after application.
The set would make a great gift. It arrives in a pretty box, and each of the items adds up to a really thorough skincare routine.
I’ve been doing the full routine for a couple of weeks, and my skin has never felt so pampered and hydrated.
I have multiple skin sensitivities – eczema, surface and cystic acne, an oily T zone. This skincare set hasn’t triggered any of my issues, and my T zone has actually felt less oily than before.
My favorite thing about this set is the toner. Instead of a liquid, it has a gel consistency. It feels wonderful right after a cleansing, and preps my face for the rest of the products.
The one thing that’s lacking in the box is instructions in English. I suggest running a photo of the pamphlet through google translate to get it in English.
Trying Stuff Since 2022 –
This skin care regimen is beautifully packaged in both bottle design and gift box. Unfortunately, mine had tumbled in transit so that the box was torn, and the bottles were jumbled, but thankfully nothing broke or leaked. The box contains four products in both a large and a travel size: gel skin toner, gel essence, lotion emulsion, and cream. It is a luxurious experience to apply four layers of hydrating anti-wrinkle product all at once, but as you might imagine, my skin felt very soft and moist well into the next day when I used it the night before. The fragrance is strongly floral and, while I like the scent, it became almost too much by the fourth product. All but the cream are dispensed via pump bottles; the larger of the cream jars has a scoop located under the cap so you don’t need to stick your fingers in the tub.
The enclosed dual language (Korean/English) brochure describes how to apply each product but neglected to translate the order of application to English: You should work from left to right as listed in the brochure (toner, essence, emulsion, cream). More products are described in the brochure than are included in this box, so you must skip the description for the eye cream (unless you’ve purchased it separately) and move to the next set of instructions for the cream. Because I thought there might be a bag for the travel-sized jars, I looked under the molded plastic base and found a hidden bag of cosmetic squares! It seemed an odd place to put them, so I’m not sure if they started there or someone put the damaged box back together that way but be sure to check there if you decide to buy (no bag, though). This seems like a generous amount of quality product with a beautiful presentation for the price. If not for the strong scent, I would have given it five stars.

Danahan Bon Yeon Jin Skin Care 4pcs Special Set, first of all, would make a terrific gift for a skincare lover. That said, I AM a skincare lover, and have been using this myself, thank you very much.
The directions are in Korean. However, there is a handy little printout which gives the order in which you are to use the products. This did help, because I tend to forget the proper order in which to use Korean skincare–there can be many more than I usually use. I start with the toner, which isn’t a liquid, as is standard in more Western skincare. It’s a gel which I still apply with a cotton pad, which may be useless. Still, this is what I am supposed to do, and so I do. It smells lovely, but does have a rather strong scent. Then comes essence, and then emulsion. Both of these are rather creamier than I am used to, and both have powerful scents. This is a skincare line that may appeal to those of us who adore fragranced skincare, but be warned, those of you who shrink from flowery scents: this is not for you!
This box also contains an eye cream, which makes me so happy. Very often, boxes of skincare ignore the eye care, and it makes me very irritable, as one with dry skin, and fragile skin surrounding my eyes. The actual skin cream is rich and luxe, and drenches my complexion in heady, luscious moisture. I have particularly dry skin this year, so I am finding this skincare line a complete dream. It is infusing my skin with needed hydration.
Now: this may be a bit too much moisture for people with very oily skin. My skin feels and looks dewy all day long. However, this may translate to an abundance of a good thing for those not cursed with dry skin.
However, if you have dry skin, this is a super set. Highly recommended.

Huge set of skincare products from Korean skincare company Danahan. Much more than just a 4 piece set! You get extras that will help keep your skin looking amazing! These have done wonders for my skin, and it’s nice having all the essentials from one company all together.

This is an amazing set of skincare products! Not only does it come with 4 full-sized products, but it also includes 4 small-sized products (smaller versions of the larger ones). I have another set of these products in a medium size. I can’t get enough of it. This IS scented, and many may think it is strong. I love the scent and think it makes the product that much better. It comes packaged in a beautiful box (would make a great gift!) This includes a toner, an essence, an emulsion, and a cream. I love the textures of each product and they make my face so soft and feel so nice. It comes with instructions so if you are not sure of the order of usage- well they have you covered! I love Korean skincare and I must say, this is one of my favorites so far.
