I purchased Roycederm Seborrheic Dermatitis Cream because I have sebborrheic dermatitis on my scalp. This is my 2nd jar I purchased because I was still having symptoms of itching on my scalp. I like the smell of eculyptus and the tingling feeling your scalp has once you have it put onto your scalp.
However, this 2nd jar I’m using doesn’t seem to be working as well and the itchiness is back. I’m wondering if this is drying out my scalp instead of moisturizing my scalp. I’ll finish this 2nd jar, but will be looking for another treatment on Amazon

I’ve dealt with psoriasis all over my scalp for many years with some patches of cracking but never as bad as during a recent stressful event. A large area (about 2″ x 5″) of my scalp cracked and began weeping. I have used topical steroids before and they did not work so, exasperated, I went to Amazon and found this available for next day delivery. It is every bit as great as everyone says it is and healed my scalp fully in less than a week. Here is how I used it:
– Day 1: Apply a moderate amount over entire scalp and gently massage in for 5 minutes. Do not wash.
– Day 2 – 4: Apply a moderate amount over just cracked area 1x per day. Do not wash.
– Day 5: Wash with a medicated shampoo that will not dry out scalp. Discontinue use.
Notes:
– SMELL: It DOES smell very strong, somewhere between Vick’s and Nyquil, or very herbal similar to some eastern medicinal creams.
– SENSATION: It is very cold at first with intense tingling followed by intermittent, alternating heat and cold. After the first use, it is much less intense, probably by about 1/2. It never stung even when applied directly to the open skin.
– TIME: It was fast acting relative to many treatments but not washing between applications was very important to allow the skin to repair before exfoliating. You’re going to look rough for a few days but it will completely resolve the issue.
– HEALING: By day 5, my scalp was only very faintly pink and slightly tender to touch. Before use, it was flaming red, open, stinging, and felt like a deep bruise when pressed. By day 7, my entire scalp was back to normal coloration with only a few flakes from where the cracks had been.
– SHEDDING: I truly believe this cut through the inflammation of my scalp effectively. Typically, I lose A LOT of hair in the impacted areas of my scalp in the week of the flare up. I lost no more hair during washing or brushing than typical non-flare shedding with this cream though, which was amazing.
In conclusion, it was a miracle for my scalp. Nothing, not even prescription steroid creams and treatments, has ever provided this kind of relief or healing so quickly and painlessly. No itch, no burn, virtually no new flakes after treatment. It tamed my entire scalp’s flare. I can’t speak to continuous use but as a rescue treatment for intermittent use, this get a 100/10 from me.

Tried everything for my poor scalp and nothing really worked. Happened to see these two fine products on Amazon and they had great reviews. Decided to give them a try and it’s been great ever since. They really work well for me and I highly recommend them to anyone who suffers from any of those conditions.

Don’t be swayed by number of reviews! COMPLETELY UNKNOWN INGREDIENTS OUTSIDE OF THISE LISTED AND THOSE CANNOT PHYSICALLY FORM A CREAM – no stabiliser, emulsifiers, conditioners NOTHING!!!
AND IT BURNS HORRIBLY – will be very cold tingling on strong healthy skin but can burn any compromised skin (which is what you are trying to heal!!!!) ABSOLUTELY DO NOT APPLY TO FACE!!!!!!
I tested it on chest area diluted with a trusted most gentle cream that exists using just 1/5th ratio and it cool burned for 10minutes — next day my skin cannot get re-hydrated. And this was largely area with healthy skin and few small dermatitis spots and it burned equally on both. But my personal experience is less relevant – I just have to add this because I have think strong skin that can take a lot of damage and this was the harshest thing I’ve applied to it in recent memory. But what’s more important is that this product MUST BE REPORTED FOR HAVING UNKNOWN INGREDIENTS AND TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE LOOKING FOR RELIEF. yes! You can get your $ back – just report this via customer support (use the call option to report ingredients issue not burning because that is not acceptable for Amazon standards).
I’ve never seen this in first hand experience of why people worry about if some product is from China (who cares – it can be a good product from anywhere), but this is a perfect example of harmful mystery ingredients being peddled to US tricking customers with high amounts of reviews. I’ve never seen such blatantly dangerous item sold in skincare anywhere— this is a legitimately dangerous product to gamble with on your already problematic skin! YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS IN IT!!!!!! Water and herbs can’t make a cream! What mixes them into a think white paste? NOTHING THATS LISTED – so it could have any chemicals. Some think maybe even steroids – that’s less likely… but that’s the problem: YOU CANT KNOW WHAT IS OR ISNT IN THIS PRODUCT BECAUSE YOU CANNOT TRUST THE LABEL THAT IS CLEARLY OMITTING DOZENS OF INGREDIENTS.
The ingredient list online is “suspicious” as some said – but once you get the item, it’s not any better. THERE IS NOT 1 INGREDIENT THAT MAKES A CREAM!! I have added photos. NOTE: other similar product from Pureskin you see in photo is nearly identical – avoid both and any with similar listed ingredients that dont make sense as a cream!

I’ve been struggling with “face dandruff” for over 5 years. Every time I find something to help it starts to help then a month later I’m back to the beginning. So far I’ve been using this 2 weeks and the area I feel tingling has shrunk by half and the dandruff is already about gone! There is a smell and your eyes water if you apply it too close but I’m 99% sure it’s cuz I wear glasses and it gets trapped behind.
I’m much happier using this than anything so far !!!
