This review is for “CONTEXT SKIN Eye Cream for Dark Circles and Puffiness | Revitalizing and Hydrating | Eye Cream with Angelica, Echinacea, Licorice, Grape Seed Extracts, Vitamin C & E | Cruelty-Free Soothing Skin”
The tube I received had no safety features of any kind. There was no shrink wrap on the tube/cap and no foil to peel off to protect the contents of the tube. The lotion was very thin and I only tried it one time at night because I’m leery of the lack of safety features. At this price point I fully expect at least a tab of peel off foil to protect the product.

The product was delivered with a large sticker label that covered the entire rear “ingredient” section, including any instructions and description. It was a type of label that doesn’t peel off but instead leaves behind a residue of a thin paper and sticky adhesive if you try to remove it. I tried washing it off with soap, but no success.
The online product page “Special Feature” states that this product is “antibacterial” which is both amusing and kind of concerning – and so I wanted to check the “ingredient” section. Unfortunately, this was not possible thanks to the sticker label they used to cover the entire back.
The product was also not sealed. There is no protective seal under the cap.
For a product this small and priced this high, you expect the minimum packaging safety standards.
With this product we found none. The sticky tube will be thrown out.

I have been using Vitamin C on my face for a while now. When I saw this I wanted to try it because it also includes Vitamin E, Echinacea, Licorice, and Grape Seed. It is soothing to the eyes and does seem to keep my eyes feeling better for longer during the day. It isn’t the least expensive option available with Vitamin C, but depending on how diligent you are with your skin, it is much less than some of the spa options I have purchased in the past.

I’ve been using this eye cream for a couple of weeks now, and I’m really impressed with the results. The cooling sensation when applied is so refreshing, and the lightweight consistency absorbs quickly without leaving any sticky residue. It hydrates well and doesn’t interfere with makeup application, which is a huge plus for me.
While I haven’t noticed a significant reduction in puffiness, I have seen a visible improvement in the smoothness and tightness of the under-eye area. My dark circles have lightened up quite a bit, and my skin feels softer and more refreshed.
The ingredient list is fantastic—Vitamin C, Echinacea, Licorice, and Grape Seed, all great for nourishing the delicate skin around the eyes. Plus, it’s cruelty-free, which is important to me.
The only downside is that the amount you get for the price is quite small. Despite this, it has definitely made a difference in the appearance and feel of my under-eye area, so I consider it worth the investment.

This eye cream has a nice cooling sensation when applied around my eyes. The consistency is thin and absorbs quickly. Very hydrating without feeling sticky or tacky and does not smear when applying eye makeup. I’m not sure if it reduced the puffiness under my eyes but it does give it a little bit of a glow and seems a bit tighter and smoother.

I needed to try a new eye cream for my under eye bags and came across this one.
I’ve been using this eye cream once a day for a couple weeks and my eyes have never looked better. The dark circles under my eyes are almost completely gone and my under eyes feel softer. The cream isn’t too thick and goes on very nicely, plus absorbs really easily into the skin.
This Context eye cream has a very good ingredient list, plus it’s also cruelty-free which is very important to me. It’s a solid 5 stars for the difference it’s made to my under eye area and, therefore, definitely worth the price.🙂

With a name like “CONTEXT SKIN eye cream for dark circles and puffiness,” I was expecting a product with a thicker consistency. Something like my usual eye creams which are creamy. This is like a serum. It’s thin and it is nearly clear. It has a slight smell to it. It warmed my undereye area slightly when I applied it, which made me feel like it was irritating the sensitive, thin skin there. It did quit feeling uncomfortable after a few minutes but I don’t love the idea of something irritating the skin around my eyes.
The ingredient label on the back was completely obscured by a barcode sticker, and I was able to peel most of it off but now my tube is all sticky. I was able to see that this states it is made in the USA. It was not safety sealed, so no real way to tell if it had ever been used or opened before.
This would make more sense labeled as an eye gel. It needs a safety seal of some kind to reassure consumers. It’s also quite small for the cost.

My tube of Vitamin C eye cream arrived with a label applied directly over the back of the tube, no wrapper, no seal under the cap, which I find annoying. Not only is there no tamper proofing here, but the ingredient list on the tube is unreadable because it’s been obscured by the warehouse label which does not come off cleanly.
The ‘cream’ is actually a milky gel that absorbs & dries very quickly, leaving no sticky feeling. It does have a slight cooling effect on my skin as well. Not a bad eye product but certainly not a cream and needs some improvement to packaging that includes a seal and ability to read the back of the tube.
