This eye cream is thick, rich and nourishing. Sometimes with eye creams, I still feel like my skin is too dry after the cream has absorbed. Not the case with this one. My skin felt hydrated and comfortable. This will work well for winter.
It does have a slightly odd scent, kind of sour and plasticky. I didn’t care for it, but I could not smell it once it was around my eyes.

First off, I put all the ingredients in an ingredient decoder to check the safety of the ingredients and the only ingredients that came up as “icky” was alcohol, which doesn’t bother me too much.
I am not one that always uses eye cream, I just think most of them out there are no different than a facial moisturizer and not worth the extra effort. However, I had read good things about this eye cream firming nicely, and at 53 and loving being out in the sun, my eyes could definitely benefit from some firming, so I was excited to give it a try.
It’s an expensive moisturizer, especially for the small container, but it is a nice moisturizer that doesn’t leave my eyes greasy. It is firming, and it has added life to my eyes. People mentioned the odd scent, and while it’s not a yummy scent, I’m rather glad it doesn’t have a perfumy smell, as sometimes fragrances can irritate my skin (especially linalool).

This comes in a very small sized jar and is only halfway filled! The smell is pleasant, it feels very moisturizing. Unfortunately, it caused absolutely no improvement to the fine lines around my eyes. this works great as a moisturizer but does very little for firming.

A few reviewers have mentioned this has a weird scent. That was not my experience at all. I have a very sensitive sense of smell and I absolutely do not smell anything. I am so glad it is unscented because you do not want artificial perfume around the delicate tissue of around the eyes.
This is so creamy and hydrating. I really noticed a difference right away. It is also quite cooling and refreshing.
This is an expensive eye cream, but I think very much worth the money for the quality ingredients and effectiveness. It comes in a glass jar so that preserves the freshness of the product.
This has quickly become one of my all-time favorite eye creams. The 1/2 fl oz (15ml) lasts along time since you only need one little dap each time you use it. I use it in both the morning before makeup and right before bedtime. I especially like it before bedtime while it does it’s magic overnight. I feel so much younger using this product and that is priceless!!!

Don’t be fooled by the tiny size that Plant Apothecary’s: Firm Believer comes in or by the amount you get either, the proof is in the results that are evident within a couple of days! Although, the price is steep for not much product being delivered, very little is needed for the eye area and it’s profound effects on fine lines and dark eye bags seem to be long-term. Follow along for important point of interests that warrant my 5-star review and may help you in deciding whether this product is for you or not:
– With a non-oily/greasy consistency, this facial product fully hydrates the skin underneath the eyes and promotes noticeable improvements in dark eye circles within days of use.
– Not overly scented, a faint indistinguishable scent does exude from the eye cream but extinguishes upon application. HUGE relief because so many products are scented with irritants that can cause breakouts!
– With habitual applications done day and night to the eye area, firming properties begin to take shape almost immediately and only improve the longer you use it. A dab does perfectly, less is more here!
– Texture is thick and not the least bit runny; normally creams of this consistency tend to not spread evenly but not the case here! An even distribution throughout the under eye area was smooth and manageable.
– Brightening effects are the most noticeable for me when using this cream because I no longer look tired (comments made by 2 workers) and my genetic dark eye circles are almost gone.
Sure, the price is high and the product amount is lacking but this isn’t your run-of-the-mill eye cream you can pick up at the local pharmacy. Made with meticulous ingredients proven to alleviate dry and dark under-eye skin, this jar of miracles is the real deal!
