My product was crushed and I complained, because one of the 3 crushed places had a sharp corner that could break open at any moment. I guess it was because I ordered it during an Amazon Sale day and every worker was in a rush, so didn’t put ANY packing material in the flimsy single layer plastic bag. The telephone Amazon support person said he applied for a full refund for me. Don’t know if I’ve received it yet. But I must say, the scent of this cream is intoxicating. For about 30 yrs., I raised roses until the fatal rose virus killed them. I was looking for something that had the real rose scent, because florist roses have no scent; they might as well be plastic. This has real rose scent in it: rosa centifolia. I will be re-ordering this hand cream, if the price does not go sky-high. Also, I do use another product when my hands are very dry, so really, I’m using this as a light perfume. Probably I shouldn’t review this product at all to prevent it from getting even more popular. It is from France, so not locally available in the USA, I guess…

I love L’Occitane hand creams. The quality is evident. The feel is super silky and well hydrates and protects my hands. Doesn’t leave a greasy residue. Your hands just feel amazingly soft. And the scent is intoxicating. All L’Occitane scents are intoxicating. I mean, you can go in a trance smelling this lovely scent. I can’t pinpoint all the layers of different but kindred floral notes and since I don’t know what a cherry blossom smells like, I cannot attest to whether it smells like them or not….but who cares!! They sure know how to create complex, yummy scents.
I wish I could bathe in it, but this hand cream is expensive. I am thrifty with it, just a pearl size dot of it is all you need for both hands. But if you are going to throw down hard earned dollars for an excellent hand cream, buy this! It’s worth it.

First time trying this brand and I have 0 regrets. The lavender smell is a little strong but it smells amazing so I don’t mind. If you have a sensitive nose something to take into consideration.
The product got to me fast and the packaging was great. The size of the lotion was bigger than I expected, not bad for the price.
The lotion is thick and very moisturizing so you don’t need a lot. Perfect for winter time and if you have dry skin! Already planning on buying more when this one runs out!

I can’t speak for how well this product keeps my hands moisturized over time yet, as I’ve just received the product. However, I am satisfied with the scent and the texture of the cream. The scent is definitely floral and it is a lasting scent. The texture is not runny whatsoever. It has some thickness to it. I use a little dab, you don’t need a lot. I’m in love with how the cream is not greasy. I despise lotions and creams that leave a film on top of my skin. This product does not do that. It absorbs into the skin as it is rubbed in. Something I don’t care for is the price. This is such a small quantity of hand cream for about $13. I plan to use this hand cream after washing my hands and any time my hands start to feel dry. I will update my review to clarify on whether this hand cream keeps my hands moisturized over time.
Update: I’ve had this product for about 2 weeks now. It’s not the most moisturizing hand cream out there, but it’s better than nothing. If your goal is to have buttery smooth hands, this hand cream does half the job. My hands aren’t cracked or bleeding so the hand cream sorted that out for me. The texture of my hands remain somewhat rough over time after applying the hand cream whenever my hands felt dry or after washing my hands. For how pricey it is for this small amount of hand cream, I have higher expectations for how smooth my hands should be after using it.
