This is a review for “Skin Light Food, Moisturizing Body Plant Cream with Chamomile, Calendula and Pansy . . .”
The description for this sounded great, so I was excited to get it. But honestly, I was disappointed by the sticky residue it left on my face. I hoped that would go away after it absorbed into my skin, but it didn’t. I wanted to give it a fair chance, so I tried it several different times, but each time had the same sticky disappointment. Because of that, I stopped using it. I did like the light scent, but for me, the stickiness was a major turnoff. And, it didn’t leave my face feeling moisturized.

This ‘Skin Light Food’ moisturizing cream works very well to add a nourishing and hydrating feeling to my face and body. I’m super impressed with how the product feels; it’s a thicker cream when it comes out of the tube, but it absorbs nicely into the skin and leaves me feeling soft.
This cream doesn’t feel heavy or greasy; and I love that it includes natural ingredients such as chamomile, calendula, and pansy. 🌼 As far as scent; it smells like a light, natural citrus smell, that I really like. 💗This cream has been excellent for a face moisturizer; as it gives my skin a nice dewy glow, works well with other skincare products, and nice under my makeup. ✨️
I appreciate that this product came sealed, and had a tamper-resistant seal on the inside; these things make me feel more secure about using a skincare product. I think that this is an excellent product, and I would definitely consider ordering it again. For a decent sized tube, and the price range (currently at around $6.99); I think this is very reasonable, in my personal opinion. I really like this a lot, and have enjoyed using this very much! 😊

I only used this on my body since upon reading the ingredients, I see it contains petrolatum which will make my face break out. On my body this feels nice and it has a pleasant smell. It’s a decent moisturizer, but I don’t like it more than my current Jergen’s lotion for moisturizing and it doesn’t smell as good as some of my other moisturizers, so I’ll use it until it’s gone, but I won’t be purchasing another tube. The size of the tube is small and it’s travel friendly.

Love the moisture it gives to my hands and feet. It’s not sticky nor does it leave flakes on my skin. It had a nice, not overbearing smell.

Advertised and packaged just like Weleda Skin Food, and described as natural product. Ingredients list is not shown on Amazon, so not known until product is received. Referencing photo, the chamomile and calendula referenced in the Amazon description are in the trace ingredients. Pansy probably is too. In the main ingredients are petrolatum and similar ingredients, not shea butter and similar ingredients that are in the Weleda product and other similar products . Buy carefully; I learned that!
