first, the scent, it is very organic, like walking down those isles at the store. ive been using this on my legs and they looks and feel so smooth and soft. the cream is very thick but rubs in easily. it hasn’t upset my sensitive skin at all either.

This is the first goop beauty product I have tried, and I am blown away by how well it works. The Body Smoother replenishing cream is cruelty, synthetic fragrance, and gluten free, as well non-gmo and vegan. The fragrance of this cream comes from the different essential oils in the formula.
Let’s talk more about that scent, because it smells fantastic! It has this herbal, earthy scent that gives relaxation vibes. It’s strong going on, and will die down slowly after application, but I could still faintly smell it up close after a couple hours. I love that it lingered because it is a very pleasing smell.
This cream is thick, so a little bit goes a long way. With that being said, 4 ounces is pretty generous. I love that this cream doesn’t leave behind a greasy feel after rubbing it in. The combination of effective and high quality ingredients work together to provide truly long lasting moisture to dry skin. I applied to my (very dry) hands before bed. I wanted to see how they’d look the next morning.
My hands actually still looked freshly moisturized upon waking up. I paid attention after two rounds of hand washing and one use of hand sanitizer- and my hands STILL looked far more moisturized than before I used this cream.
I have chronically dry skin due to some health issues, so I very much appreciate a moisturizer that does it’s job. This goop beauty product has earned it’s place in my body care routine. I would definitely recommend, especially to those with skin like mine.

I love goop body products and have used them for years. I was so jazzed to see a goop line at a more accessible price point and I have the goal to try every item in this line. This product is excellent – very moisturizing, with soothing and nourishing oils. I actually dropped the inner lid on my bed spread when I first got the product, and there is still an oil stain where it fell. It’s reassuring for me (it was an old comforter – no harm, no foul), as an old school person who was raised putting “grease” on their body.
A lot of people have complained about the scent, which is light but very distinct. It smells like the health food store – flowery, earthy, slightly musky. I love it, but could see how others may not like the scent. I hope that the scent doesn’t change.
Overall, I love this body smoother. I will likely buy it during gaps in my goopgeens body butter subscription. It feels great on my elbows, knees, heels, ankles, and the back of my thighs. All of these areas stay baby smooth. I highly recommend this product! If you want to smell it first, I think they are available over the counter at Target.

This body cream feels really nice and hydrating on the skin. I love the beneficial ingredients like ceramides, niacinamide, and avocado fruit oil. The fragrance is just not for me. It has a very strong mix of essential and fragrance oils that lingers long after you apply. I prefer lighter fragrances or none at all in my skincare products. That being said, if there was fragrance free version of this, I would be all over it.

I love the Goop body products but because of my dry skin, I fly through the big jars like crazy. I was excited to see what the more affordable options might offer. This item has a great, creamy consistency and smells similar to to the original Goop body oil, which I love. It feels great and absorbs really well. My skin feels decently hydrated and smooth after it soaks in, which is fairly fast. The jar is smaller than I expected but it is a third of the price. For a product I use so much of this may be a great replacement. It’s only been a few days but I think I will be buying it on repeat, especially on the summer. I’m not feeling as enthusiastic about the facial products so far, but it will take a few weeks to really know.

I tried this on my hands to start out. I can’t say how moisturizing it is because I couldn’t get past the strong scent before I had to wash it off. If you like rose, this is for you. I prefer unscented products because I’m sensitive. It lingered on my hands. The cream itself feels thin.
