This product does what it says it will. Its a great AHA/BHA lotion. It has helped clear up my hormonal acne (I am 30 and fair skinned). It does sting a little when applied. I have seen a difference in my skin after using this product. I also use it as a spot or area treatment. It seems not to dry out my skin but still gives me the exfoliation I am looking for. I do use this as a night clean and in the morning while washing my face my skin will flake away or pimples and redness will be dramatically reduced. The reason I giving this 4 stars is because it doesn’t seem to layer well with other skincare projects. I also use the TNS Essential, HA5 and was hoping to use this product last. But it would peel up on my face after applying it and made it very uncomfortable. When I wear it alone I have no problem though.

I purchased this to try to replace a product that I used to get from DHC that was discontinued after my many years of using it. Unfortunately, this seems too mild. It’s OK, but probably not a high enough concentration for my skin type.

This is my first time using a mixed BHA/AHA cream and I like what is has to offer so far. Product has a thick consistency and a strong chemical odour but not too overwhelming. I’ve used presciption tretinoin before but it didn’t leave my skin this smooth and dewy. However, AHA & BHA make my skin go through a very major acne purge on my cheeks and forehead. I could totally see myself freaking out about this if it wasn’t for a similar experience with tretinoin.
My advice is, if it doesn’t cause a breakout in areas you haven’t seen before, the product is working. Also don’t forget to use only a pea size amount for your whole face and wear sunscreen everyday!

I love this so much. I’ve struggled with adult acne and once I got that under control I struggled with my skin texture and blackheads. This has helped with the texture and I think the blackheads too. I’ve been using for about a week. I use a heavier cream after as well but it is moisturizing too, just not enough for winter time.
