OK y’all I’m so glad I waited a bit to write this because this is a whole different review than it would have been just a few days ago.
I have had a melasma spot on my face for 15 years, owing to not enough sunscreen while living in Los Angeles.
I’ve tried a ton of solutions to lighten it and nothing has made an impact.
I was skeptical when I opened this because it’s a really odd texture. It’s kind of…hard? And you have to rub your finger against it to get any out. However, that makes it easy to use a little bit at a time. I applied it each night and didn’t see anything for a few days but now it has been a week and I just caught my reflection and was like “ummm did I forget that I put makeup on?” Nope…it’s just that the melasma spot is actually lightening up.
I am shooketh. And given the texture of the solution, a little bit goes a long way and I bet that thing will be gone by the time the jar is empty!

I have been extremely impressed so far with all of the Korean skincare products I’ve tried, and this is no exception. Used as a night cream, you just need a small amount of product to do the job. There is a tiny plastic spatula included to help measure it out, and it spreads evenly and absorbs quickly. There is a slight scent, but it doesn’t seem to be artificial; rather, it seems vegetal and due to some of the natural extracts in the formula. I found it to be very hydrating, and it reliably left my skin feeling soft and glowy the following morning. I’ve not used it long enough to see any sign of pigment reduction, but my skintone is fairly even and this is not a particular concern for me.
I am very impressed and love what this product does for my skin. Highly recommended!

I was intrigued by this cream as it advertises “calcium” facial cream. I’ve not tried calcium for skin clarity, so I decided to try it–plus, it’s a K-beauty product, so all the more reason. This comes with a scooping spatula and is a very dense thick cream. A little goes a long way, so scoop a little at a time until you learn how much is needed for you. For a very thick cream, it spreads easily and absorbs quickly into my facial skin. It appears to leave a very slight white cast but no tacky or oily residue-feel. The next morning, after washing my face, there was a visible difference in my pore size and clarity of skin tone! This is only after one use! I noticed even better results when I wore makeup this day where my pores did not look as defined as it usually does with my foundation. I don’t know the science behind this but it definitely works and I highly recommend this facial cream, especially for people who struggle with large pores like me. It’s definitely worth $45.

As I’m going through perimenopause, my skin changes dramatically every few weeks. This is the cream/moisturizer that I like to use when my skin starts to get a little bit oilier than usual. This cream helps to balance my skin’s sebum, which prevents pimples and blackheads.
A plastic spatula comes with the cream; however, I have a set of my own, Metal Skin Care Spatula, which are reusable and sturdy.
1 – Cleanse my face,
2 – Apply my usual serums
3 – I apply a nickel-sized amount to my face and neck. I start at the middle of my face and apply going out and up. I don’t pull on my skin but use it gently, gently sweepingly. On my neck, I start at my jaw and down.

Dr. Melaxin Cemenrete Picotonic Shot Calcium Cream works well with the other skincare products that are part of my facial regimen.
This Cream is as advertised, and works well. It is a bit pricey, which is a huge factor when I choose products, but for a professional brand product that gives results, I realize I will have to pay a higher price.

This is thick, even for a cream. Like, clay mask thick. The little included spatula is helpful to get the product out of the jar. I did not notice any kind of scent to it. It’s supposed to be used as a last step to skincare, so I did everything, including moisturizer first. At that point, this was easy to apply and spread out nicely. Takes a bit to absorb, but my skin tone seems more even after. It does leave my skin feeling a little greasy though.

This product has a very thick consistency. You can see in the photo when I removed a bit from the jar, it left a hole behind. It has a gentle fragrance, not too strong. I really don’t like that there are no ingredients listed in English anywhere on the packaging. I like to know what I’m putting on my skin. I do like the little spatula applicator it comes with, and the jar is glass and feels high-end. After rubbing the product into my skin, it left a greasy feel that I didn’t enjoy. I can’t really say if it works or not, I didn’t use it enough. I don’t think I’ll keep using it though. I just didn’t enjoy how it felt on the skin.

This cream is different than any other in that it is very thick and creamy. It melts into skin leaving it superbly soft yet matte feeling.
A tiny amount covers dark spots. It goes on white but sinks in with a few circular motions with your fingertip.
There is no scent and it didn’t cause breakouts.
Great product I definitely recommend.
