I try to take really diligent care of my skin. But with the winters in my part of the world, that can be tough. Dry skin is a huge problem. That is why I decided to try Prija Toning Body Cream.
This cream comes in a handy pump bottle for easy dispensing. This cream has a light, clean scent that is very pleasant. This cream smooths easily onto the skin and is absorbed quickly. It really makes a difference in the appearance and feel of my skin. There is no greasiness or oiliness left behind after this lotion dries. But it does leave behind hydrated, smooth, skin with improved elasticity. It did not irritate my sensitive skin. I love it!
It must be the Green Walnut extracts in this cream. Green Walnut extracts contain lots of antioxidants, anti-inflammatory agents, B complex vitamins, vitamin E, riboflavin, niacin, and protein. Those are all essential for healthy skin. There are also polyphenols in this cream. Polyphenols stimulate collagen production in the skin. Centella asiaticais are also in this cream. This lotion smells great, it feels great and does not leave a greasy feeling…highly recommend!

This brand has products with the most amazing scent. It’s warm, woodsy, spicy, earthy. I think either gender could use this.
This toning lotion works well. It’s not thick, but it’s super hydrating – even right now, in the middle of winter.
However, it does contain retinyl palmitate, which I had not noticed at first. I did not experience any irritation with my skin, but I make sure to use this only at night now. Be sure to wear sunblock if you use this lotion.

This is a very creamy light scent body lotion that gives my skin the hydration that I needed. It is easy to apply. The cream can be absorbed in just a few minutes without feeling too greasy.
It works great right after the bath or shower while the skin is still damp. It gives the whole body a layer of a protecting barrier.

Prija Toning Body Cream has a warm and spicy fragrance that’s moderately strong. It’s stronger than I prefer for an all over body cream or lotion as using it on so much surface area makes it smell even stronger. It smells pleasant enough for me to use, and it hasn’t triggered any allergy issues. This seems more like a thick lotion rather than a cream to me. It feels rich and hydrating from ingredients such as Shea butter, glycerin and avocado oil, yet still absorbs well and isn’t greasy feeling.
I definitely notice increased hydration that makes my skin feel and look less dry and gives it more of a feeling of better elasticity, though I’m not sure I’d describe the effect as resulting in a difference in tone or shape. I’m surprised this has retinyl palmitate, and I don’t know what to make of it as I’ve read that it’s absorbed thru the skin and can even become toxic thru skin absorption. I have no idea if the amount in this lotion makes that a real concern, but I take supplements with retinyl palmitate and also apply my lotion liberally. So I’d rather it wasn’t an ingredient.
Also, I avoid using this lotion during the day if I’ll get any sun exposure as I believe retinyl palmitate and sun exposure pose a health risk similar to retinol mixed with sun. I would suggest looking into that issue if daytime use is anticipated, but I personally avoid using this lotion in the sun. I’m taking a star off for fragrance that’s tolerable but strong for my taste and the uncertainty about the retinyl palmitate. I’m not taking off re toning as I never expect miracles and do feel my skin is more hydrated so it at least appears firmer with better elasticity. Like it. 4 stars.

I can’t get past the smell. It is gross. I had to re shower to wash it off, my pajamas smelled of it as well and so I threw them in the laundry. It went on well, absorbed well and it made my skin feel fine but nothing special. I had it on for an hour and I just could no get past the horrible smell. I looked at the ingredients, I can’t tell you what is in it that has me so put off but I can’t deal with trying it on again. I have NEVER had a lotion that the smell just made me grossed out.
