The scent is Mild, disappears after application within a few minutes. I smell, wood, mask, Earth .
Texture: more like Shia butter, or a thick cream, not like a whipped body butter .

I deal with extreme insomnia and am always on the lookout for some help; I purchased this lotion with my fingers crossed! I figured I like lavender enough that even if it didn’t perform, it couldn’t hurt.
The container is much smaller than I expected so I made sure to use a small amount the first night I tried it. Turns out a little goes a long way! It smells good and felt velvety so I was pleased; I applied it to my legs and feet and rubbed the rest into my hands and forearms.
About twenty minutes later I realized my legs felt soooooo good; it’s hard to explain but they were calm (usually restless) and I just felt so relaxed. Not sleepy or anything, just soothed and relaxed. I fell asleep soon after.
I woke up the next morning. The next MORNING! I only woke up once that I can remember, and was able to slip right back into sleep. That NEVER happens, unless I’m sick or finally so exhausted that my body can’t help it. Better yet, I had zero cramps in the night and was even able to stretch in the morning without any!
I had to write a review because this type of thing never happens: to experience instant relief and to enjoy a product so much from the very start is rare. I’m sure it’s not a cure all, and just a tool to help, but MAN! Does it ever help!

Smells clean, not greasy Goes on easily and lasts all night i bought this product because I have trouble sleeping and it was recommended to me to-use a product with magnesium After the 3 rd application to my legs and feet i slept through the night! I was very skeptical of this product. I take magnesium orally and have never experienced any relaxation or slept better. I applied a moderate amount on my legs. 5 minutes later I was feeling sleepy. I can say that I have trouble falling asleep and that night I didn’t noticed when I feel asleep.
I didn’t sleep “better” woke up several times a night. This is usual but I can say that early morning I was feeling like I wanted to continue sleeping. Usually once I wake up, I’m ready to start the day.
In the morning I felt groggy. I was very surprised.
Next time, I will apply less since looks like a little goes a long way.
