I’ve tried about half a dozen different cream remedies for Jock Itch and this one gives me the best relief. I’m not saying it’s 100%, but compared to the others, it works best for me. Be aware, it gives an icy / hot sensation when you first apply it, but that goes away after a few minutes. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but if it works, what are you going do?

In short, it works. I had tried a few other creams that would at least stop the itching but other than mask that part of it they seemed to do little to help the actual issue, in fact it seemed to be spreading. I bought this product from Herman based upon other reviews I read and so glad I did. Within 24 hours the spreading turned to receding and there was very noticeable improvement in even the worst areas. It’s been a week and it’s not completely gone; however, it does say to apply for two weeks and I’m only halfway through that. My skin was also pretty raw to start with. Like other reviewers have said, it DOES give a burning feeling when applied, but I thought it was tolerable especially knowing it’s clearing up my issue. The burning lasted about 20 minutes with my first application. The product gives a cooling sensation as the burning dies down. The burning sensation lessons with each application and I’ve not felt it at all the last couple days. The smell is pleasant enough however it’s very strong, I’d say it smells similar to Icy Hot, so if you’re around others, they will most definitely smell it. No going incognito with it I’m afraid. Just something to keep in mind.

This ointment really works. I have had a skin problem for a few years now. Imagine sweating your way through 12 hour shifts 40 to 60 hours a week. I tried antifungals, antibiotics pills and creams, sprays, ointments so forth and so on. Cortozones helped but the problem soon returned and with a vengeance. Nothing helped and I mean nothing. The redness, cracking, itching, all uncontrollable until I found this product. It is literally healing my skin issue which has now almost completely cleared. It stopped the insane itch, it took away the redness and healed the raw/cracked skin.
I don’t write product reviews. But this time I had to because of how well this ointment worked for a problem I had that nothing* seemed to help. After searching for a solution for over 2 or 3 years i can finally say, the search is over. This stuff is healing me and it has worked wonders. Do not hesitate. Spend the money, buy this cream and try it. I swear by it.
Just a few pointers: it is extremely strong. And obviously the area you want to apply this ointment to is going to be sensitive so only use a thin, and I mean THIN application of it. Your going to think “hey, its such a thin coating how is this going to help?” Then that is the right amount until you know how your skin is going to react. For me, It almost felt like placing dry ice on my skin, and that dry ice literally turned into molten lava. If you use a lot on a damaged skin area, its gonna send you through the roof so try a little at a time until you know how you are going to react.

As long as I use it every day, my scalp doesn’t itch. It has a strong wintergreen odor. I guess when I notice the fragrance, I know it’s working.
I’m wondering why this review was rejected. I got an email saying it was rejected, but Amazon refused to accept an email reply. Hmm, that’s rude. And they don’t even tell me WHY it was rejected. I checked the guidelines and found nothing the would be even close to a violation.

I’m six days into using this and can’t believe how well it’s working. The jock itch I’ve been plagued with for far too long is 99% gone- no more itching, no more irritated/raw skin, and the darker discoloration caused by the fungus is almost completely cleared up. OTC fungal treatments and tea tree oil could only somewhat improve the symptoms but never completely got rid of the infection, and if I missed a day or two I was back being miserable again. This has been a miracle cream after nothing else working for so long. The price seemed high at first but I’ve probably wasted 10x more on otc cremes that didn’t really work.
The burning mentioned in other reviews… it’s real. We’re talking about skin that is already really sensitive when everything is going well down there, so I wasn’t expecting a mild reaction based on other reviews. As soon as it was delivered I tried a small spot on my inner thigh to see how a less sensitive area would react and that went smoothly, so the whole region was coated and all was well for maybe half a minute. A cooling sensation quickly begin turning into a really uncomfortable burning feeling and kept getting worse for an another minute or two. A few minutes in and it was getting to be nearly unbearable, but I lived to tell about it and subsequent applications have been a bit more tolerable each time. As uncomfortable as the burning is it’s 100% worth dealing with the temporary pain to be free of itching and have smooth, healthy looking and feeling skin again.
