Creatine monohydrate is one of the best workout supplements there is. You know that, of course, it’s why you’re here. For me, the primary question is, powder form, or capsules? Powder form is most cost effective, but there’s always a caking problem, as it captures moisture from the air every time you open it. And it has to be taken mixed in a drink.
I usually use powder in a protein drink mid-morning (empty stomach, first meal comes later, at noon). but there are plenty of occasions when I don’t have time to blend a drink, and it’s also inconvenient to take on a vacation trip. So I take capsules as well.
These are 500 mg capsules, not too big, and the dose is seven capsules for 3500 mg, as a 30-day supply. I like that the capsules are bovine gelatin. That will be a negative for vegans, but for me it’s a positive, better than the usual alternatives. Quality seems good, the manufacture date was about eight weeks ago, with the expiration date two years after.
