Ah, classic creatine monohydrate. No thrills, no gimmicks, no flavors, just crunchy white powder. Have you ever run into situation where you are traveling and need to take creatine with you? Because, as you know, creatine is a supplement that must be taken daily for maximum effectiveness. That being said, you feel weird about filling a ziploc with white powder and writing “creatine” on it in sharpie. Something about that feels real sketchy and I don’t quite want the hassle at TSA. That being said, brining a whole twist top container just for a few days doesn’t seem worth the space either. All this is why I was excited to get this little bag of creatine. Its a perfect side for traveling, goes real flat, and looks more legit than a ziplock of white powder.
I was immensely disappointed to find that the seal on this bag is absolute trash. So much so that I plan on dumping it into another container because I cannot get it to seal. On top of that, the second I opened this package for the first time, I was hit in the face with the combo smell of stank and chemicals. It was bad to the point that it kind of made my stomach churn and I questioned actually trying this stuff. I did anyway, for the review, and well, it tasted all the other creatine’s I have in my life. Just crunchy, tasteless, basically sand.
Put a quality seal on the packaging and make sure it doesn’t smell like a meat packing plant when I open it and it’ll get 5 stars, but as it stands, 3.

The flavorless powder form is easy to mix in with any drink and dissolves without any negative impact to your drink. The bag is small, but does have 30 servings. Though the Vitalura Labs Pure Creatine Monohydrate is more expensive than other creatine products he’s tried, he would still order this again and would recommend it to others.

This was my first time trying a powdered Creatine supplement. It did have a bit of a flavor to it when I mixed it with water, but it wasn’t terrible. I don’t think it would be as noticeable if I mixed it in juice or a smoothie. I was able to mix it with just a spoon and it mostly dissolved easily. There were no clumps, but there was just a little residue at the bottom of the cup.
I feel like it did help give me a little extra boost to my weightlifting workout.

Creatine is creatine is creatine, except when it’s not. Except that even when it’s not, it kind of is.
Creatine is creatine is creatine: Regardless of whether it’s in monohydrate or ethyl ester form, it works the same. Take it for a week or two and let it build up to a steady state concentration in your body, and you’ll see minor but statistically significant gains, along with some water retention. Stop creatine supplementation, and those gains and the retained water melt away over another week or two. It has always been thus.
Except when it’s not: This particular creatine product is NSF certified, meaning that NSF, one of the most respected third-party analytical laboratory companies, has determined that it contains pure and clean creatine of the highest quality. If you care about supplement sourcing as much as you should, then you know that NSF certification is the gold standard.
Except that even when it’s not, it kind of is: The fact that this creatine is pure and clean doesn’t make it magical. It doesn’t fundamentally work or mix or taste any differently than many brands of creatine that might be, perhaps, just as pure, but didn’t go through the process of getting certified by NSF.
For what it’s worth, I can confirm that this creatine is indeed creatine, and that it’s top quality. It’s also priced accordingly. Then again, NSF certification doesn’t come cheap. No complaints on my end.

This creatine powder is easy to make before a workout. Just blend a scoop of powder with 8 oz of water, shake/stir and you are all set! It is easy to add a scoop to your protein shake or green shake in the morning, too. I love this powder is unflavored as it is great to mix with other supplements/powders. It also dissolves easily into sports drinks, hydration aids, etc. It can be messy to try and pour a scoop of powder into a regular water bottle so I recommend you use a shaker bottle or blender to make sure you don’t spill any.
The main drawback to this creatine powder is the price. It is about $1 per serving and is more expensive than capsules and gummies. I feel that it hits my system faster and is easier to take right before a workout so I don’t have to worry about planning. I also like that it adds some hydration pre-workout as I typically mix it with 12-16 oz of water. If you are looking for a creatine powder that actually tastes good (because it tastes like whatever you mix it with), this one is a winner!

This is a great creatine for mixing in virtually anything. It mixes up extremely well and you can’t even tell there’s anything in your water or juice or whatever you decide to put it in. It’s unflavored and nearly undetectable, I like that there are no unnecessary added ingredients
