As a weightlifter all of my life, Creatine is a regular supplement for me. One of my frustrations I have with most brands of Creatine on the market is they come with extra ingredients like fillers and flow agents. Not this brand
This is a clean supplement with zero additives… the only thing you get other than the Creatine is the capsule. Speaking of capsules… they are typical in size and easy to swallow with no taste or odor.
Now to the negative… this is made in China and there is nothing on the label about 3rd party testing or whether it is screened for banned substance. If you are an athlete and take a supplement that contains something that is banned in your sport and you get tested… well, you are out of luck. There is also nothing stating whether this is manufactured in a GMP compliant facility.
One other point… here on the product page the label shows the capsules are made from Bovine gelatin. However, on the actual bottle I received it says the capsules are made from vegetable cellulose.

It’s as if the manufacturer is completely unaware of the need to offer some concrete assurance that their product was made under sanitary conditions with quality checked ingredients and laboratory tested for purity and potency after processing. Their competitors are doing this and being very thorough about it, knowing that sophisticated consumers expect no less.
I would expect to see assurance that it was made in a GMP (good manufacturing practices) compliant facility. This implies following standards laid out in official documents for raw materials, equipment, training, sanitation and final quality check, among other detailed items. No reference to this. I would very much like to see that the product was double checked by an independent third party lab for purity and potency, Nope. There are other assurances that could be offered, such as inspected by a governing agency like the FDA. I searched in vain. I give it one star.
