This seems to be a good quality Creatine so far.
– Tablets are easy to swallow
– No odd aftertaste or ill effects
– Price/Value is good
– Label has GMP stamp and claims 3rd party lab tested (however I haven’t seen the COA yet)
I haven’t had any problem taking these, but I’m only giving 4 stars for now until I have a chance to view a COA from the company for this product. If/when I receive that, I’ll revise my review accordingly.

I have been taking creatine in powdered form for over a year. I decided to try out the pills to see how they compare. When I started taking creatine in powdered form, it negatively affected my sleep for the first three days. Strangely enough, the same thing happened when I switched to the pill form. However; once that passed, I noticed no differences in how I felt, my cognitive abilities, or my physique. The pills are really helpful to people who do not like the taste of creatine–though they are not small and could thus be an issue for people who have problems with pills generally. The pills are really handy for traveling. Overall, this is a good product that can be really helpful to people who tolerate pills and dislike creatine flavor. Finally, I appreciate the fact that the distributor Brieofood had this supplement third-party lab tested for purity and quality, which has now become industry best practice.

I’m not sure how to review this product effectively without hiring a private lab to analyze a pill to see if it meets the manufacturers stated contents. Seems like anything else is just subjective opinion on my part.
Having said this, the pills arrived quickly and I started taking the dose that has been studied the most in clinical trials for someone of my weight which was 5 grams per day. After a week or so, I thought that I was starting to get a bit more out of my workouts than previously. But there’s that subjectivity rearing its ugly head. The pills themselves are quite large and hard. If you have trouble swallowing such things you may need to break a pill up to get it down. Fortunately I don’t have such issues as I was swallowing several at a time several times a day.
Unfortunately I discontinued use after a few weeks because I started to notice some disturbing skin problems on both feet which had all the earmarks of a condition called “Pigmented Purpuric Dermatitis” which is listed in medical literature as a possible side effect in some people of creatine monohydrate supplementation. Did I have this confirmed by a doctor? No. I just stopped taking the pills to see what would happen and the condition began subsiding within a few days and was gone entirely within a few weeks. Anecdotal evidence, but good enough for me. It should be noted that I have what is commonly called venous incompetence in my lower legs and feet. This means that I have poor blood flow in my lower legs and feet. This might predispose me for issues like this where poor blood flow causes an abnormal buildup of blood-carried substances in these regions. At least if my diagnosis was correct I can reasonably conclude that the pills actually contained creatine monohydrate! Too bad that I felt it necessary to stop this as creatine supplementation has been cited to provide benefits that go beyond athletic performance.
So, how do I rate the product? I don’t think it’s reasonable to blame the product for the problems I had, as I probably would have noticed the same thing with any other creatine product I took. I give it 4 stars just to draw attention to the fact that creatine in general is not some miracle product that can be taken indiscriminately by everyone and that some people might have an issue with the size of the pills. There are some well documented downsides for some people. Probably –hopefully—you won’t be one of them, just use due diligence and proceed intelligently.

For many, pill size is an important factor in any supplement so let’s cover that first. In the attached photos I have this pill (white, on the left), a large men’s daily vitamin (middle), and a standard 200mg ibuprofen(right) to help demonstrate the size. This product is easily the largest pill I take, so if that’s a challenge for you I would recommend using a pill cutter or trying other form factors like a micronized creatine powder.
I typically take my creatine as a powder with water at lunch and dinner, but it definitely has the effect of making water less palatable. That’s where these pills come into play, as they’re pretty much flavorless and you can enjoy your drink free of the tiny bits of grit, and there’s the substantial convenience of not needing to mix anything to take your dose of creatine. It makes sense that there’s no flavor as the ingredient list is basically creatine and stabilizers to put it into pill form. From a dosing perspective, they’re providing a 3g/day dose with these pills compared to what I normally see at 5g/day for sustained usage. There are 80 days of pills at the 3g dose, or closer to 50 days if you prefer a 5g dose.
The overall quality is on par with other brands that I’ve taken in the past and, given the value with this brand and experience so far, I’ll certainly consider this for future orders of creatine pills.

I’ve been taking these for a month now and they do help on recovery and increasing strength. Love the ease on taking pills instead of dissolving in a beverage

From what I can tell it works if used properly

I’m unable to use these until I can find a crusher than will actually crush them. I have faith that they’re high quality, but I wish I had purchased the powdered form.

I have had no issues with these.
