Easy to swallow, with no taste or smell. A great way to get that extra cranberry into my diet.

I really like that this has 25,000mg per capsule. It’s also sugar free and gluten free. I like having cranberry pills on hand when I don’t have fresh cranberries because they are so good to have as part of your daily routine. May people associate cranberry pills only to urinary tract health but fresh cranberries and cranberry pills help with more than that. They also promote a healthy heart and support your digestive health. With these if you take one a day you will have enough for two months. If you take two per day then you will at least get a months worth. I tried one and had no reactions from it. The pills are small and the best buy date is Apr 20, 2027 so almost 2.5 years from the date of purchase, which is good if I didn’t use them right away.
I can see myself getting these again. The price isn’t crazy at $11.32 and you may pay more at the local pharmacy and get less or something less concentrated.

FOR MY ELDERLY MOTHER-IN-LAW
My mother-in-law is 97 years old. She is in very good health. However, one thing that we must guard against is UTI issues. She has had problems in the past, especially since we sometimes struggle with getting her to drink enough fluids.

Of course, cranberries are the best holistic way to help with UTI prevention, so we give her cranberry supplements every day. I was curious to see how this product stacks up against the most well-known brand of this supplement. As far as content doses, this product is identical.
PRICE – IMPORTANT DIFFERENCE IS THAT THIS PRODUCT IS VEGAN
In terms of price, as of today (September 10, 2024), this product is $10.72 for 60 vegan capsules (so about 18 cents per vegan capsule). The well-known brand is $12.07 for 100 soft gels (so about 12 cents per soft gel). So, yes, this product is more expensive… BUT this product is vegan NOT MADE WITH GELATIN!

I have confidence in this product because it is made in the USA. I have to give this product two thumbs up because it sets itself apart by being vegan. If you are seeking a reasonably priced vegan alternative, then is product might be right for you.

This supplement keeps it simple with cranberry, vitamin C, and nothing else. If it’s what you’re looking for it’s a great choice and good value. Note that the serving size is two capsules, so 60 is a 30-day supply. Here’s a quarter for reference.
The Real Tea –
Okay, I know cranberries and cranberry juice have a lot of nice benefits when included in a healthy diet. Sadly, I am one of those people who absolutely HATE the taste of cranberries– can’t stand the juice at all, and I pass on the berries or jelly at holiday dinners. Bread and muffins with cranberries in them are a bit more tolerable (if there’s a lot of sugar as well), but for the most part I just avoid anything cranberry.
After my doctor suggested I should try taking pills or capsules, I started on a quest to find something that didn’t have that cranberry aftertaste or an odd/unpleasant scent to the pills/capsules. So far, this product by Built by Nature is the best I’ve found. The capsules are easy to swallow, no aftertaste, and don’t stink. This is definitely an easy and pleasant way to add cranberry to my diet.
This product is made in the USA by a small business brand and the overall quality seems to be very good. The cost/value ratio is quite good and in line with similar products found in my local pharmacy and grocery stores. I had no bad effects from using this supplement.
Others may have had different experiences and hold different opinions, but I’m pleased with this product!

There is no way for any consumer to accurately assess the relative efficacy, if any, of particular cranberry products.
Cranberries are said to contain proanthocyanidins, compounds that are thought to stop bacteria like E. coli from infecting the lining of the urinary tract. Reputable medical web sources say that studies have indicated that cranberry products like juice, capsules or tablets may help to prevent urinary tract infections. An extensive review of randomized controlled trials did NOT, however, identify the best cranberry dose or the best way to consume cranberries.
It is clear that, although cranberries and cranberry products might aid prevention of UTIs, they have NOT been shown to help treat active UTIs.
This particular product contains 60 capsules, with two capsules constituting a single serving. Thus there are 30 servings, each of which is claimed to equal one glass of “cranberry juice cocktail.” That claim is extremely amorphous. “Cranberry juice cocktail” is NOT the same pure cranberry juice. Cocktails vary with the manufacturers, and usually also contain water and sugar.
Each serving of two pills is also claimed to contain the equivalent of 25 grams of fresh cranberries.
Perhaps the best known cranberry supplement is AZO Cranberry Pro. That product is currently $15 on Amazon for a bottle of 100 capsules. Again, a single serving is said to be two capsules. Each serving is claimed to equal 30 grams of cranberry fruit, which is similar to the claimed potency of these Built By Nature capsules. Each two-pill serving of these capsules (at the current $11.50 for 30 servings) is about 38 cents. Each two-pill serving of the AZO Cranberry Pro capsules (at the current $15 for 50 servings) is about 30 cents (for a claimed 20% more potent dosage).
By those numbers it is hard to recommend this product over the name brand product.
