I have used this 2x now and each time I awoke the next day with a breakout, so I won’t be using it any longer. I have several other items from COSYX and really enjoy the results that I get. It is a great company and I love the other products, just not this one, sadly.

This product is a great alternative to the viral product from The Ordinary that is the same color. It has a viscosity that is more gel like which makes it easier to apply and also clings to the skin better than The Ordinary’s. If you are looking for an effective peel that is easier to apply and not quite as harsh try this! I have never tried a Cosrx product I didn’t like. I woke up with smooth glowing skin after using this last night. I left it on ten minutes and followed up with a moisturizing mask. If you are older or have sensitive skin this may be the peel for you.

This is my 4th COSRX product. I’ve been pretty happy with them all! I started with the essence serum. LOVE IT! Get it and use it twice a day. Then I ordered the .01 retinol. Together, fantastic! Your skin may get dry and start to peel slightly after some use. I just lay off the retinol when that happens. I ended up ordering the retinol serum next to up the retinol. You have to keep it in the fridge. I don’t know if I’ve noticed that much change with that one but something must be happening because my sister in law complimented my skin. So I ordered the overnight rice mask. I like that one. I love how my skin feels in the morning! I don’t wash my face with soap in the morning, I just rinse with water then use the essence before I put my moisturizer and makeup on. I saw this peel because I feel like I needed a boost. Light tingles, nothing bad. Rinsed off with water after 10 min. Omg LOVE the feeling of my skin after!
Last night I used it for the second time. I left mine on a little longer than 10 minutes ( I’ve been doing peels a long time) and it felt great! No irritation or burning at all. You know your skin so listen to your skin. If you can’t do the full 10 minutes then take it off. You can always build up to it. Skincare is definitely not a one size fits all. So don’t try to be a champ. Do what you can and listen to your skin!
I will also state after I started using the essence and seeing results I ended up ordering the 7 light therapy hand held device. That completely took my skincare to the next level! I have seen a huge difference in the texture, hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles. I usually use the light with my essence serum just fyi. I’m going to try the eye gel next I think.

The red color makes it easy to see where you’ve applied it and how much you’ve applied. It only takes 10 minutes to work and it rinses off with water. I couldn’t believe how smooth my face was when I removed it, my face hadn’t been that smooth since I was a child, and I’m 57. I was very impressed.

So I never really leave reviews, but after one day of using this peel I can already see a difference in skin tightness on my forehead (which is what I’ve searching for without any invasive procedures.) My skin is very sensitive so I was nervous about using an at home chemical peel, but as long as you follow the instructions, you’re golden. For top results, I recommend a multi step skin care routine. I also think I’d only use this every other week instead of weekly. Especially for those with sensitive skin as well.
The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because it’s only the first day after. I’ll update if I have anymore noticeable changes
