Learned about CoQ10 and free radicals in a nutrition class back in the early 90’s, and have tried my best to consistently take this supplement since.
There’s no reasonable way for a non-researcher to determine how effective any product such as this one is, especially after only about a month of use. But there have been no funny aftertastes, and I’ve not experienced any upper or lower intestinal issues while taking these as directed (one softgel, once per day).
For a 3 month supply, the price point of mid-upper teens for a bottle of this Livegis product is reasonable relative to the other products I see out there. Without even anything minor to complain about, this product gets a top rating from me.

CoQ10 200mg Softgels, (With coconut MCT Oil, 90 Counts, the LIVEGIS Store)- No foul odor, no bad taste. A friend and I shared the entire bottle. No ill effects noted, none positive either – by either of us. I like the use of coconut oil and no fillers. Gel pills are a deep red or orange red. Not sure as to the purpose of the bright deep color.

I have been taking supplement like this and this one for some time now. I love that through each serving I know that I am getting a quality product. Heart health is really important to me, and I am glad that I am covered by supplements like this.

There are no fillers, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, etc. (Well, there aren’t any listed, so I’m assuming there are none.) This is good. Also it contains the bioactive form of coq10. I thought the capsule felt weird when I first picked it up because it was very hard, not like the usual softgel, yet it felt very light as though there was nothing inside it, so I opened one of them. You can see this in my 4th photo. It’s not liquid or oily, it’s more like a paste, which explains the weight. Though I’m not sure what the orange color is from, I kind of like the look of it. Substantial. And the dosage on the front of the bottle matches the recommended dosage. I can’t stand when companies put 1000 mg on the front, then when you look at the ingredients it’s only 1000 mg if you take 2 pills. So everything here looks good and I’m having no side effects from taking it. The addition of MCT oil is a good bonus, too.

This is a very nice product of coenzyme Q10 for two reasons. One is its high contents of 200mg per dose with coconut oil in soft gels. That is the high-end dose my doctor recommends. The second reason is the content of 5 mg reduced form of the same coenzyme ubiquinol. That is the form mitochondria use in cells. There is also 3mg of pipeline in the soft gels. While it is a potent antioxidant, part of its role is probably to help keep ubiquinol in its reduced form. While this reduced coQ10 might be a highlight, the non-reduced form my be reduced within out body. We have to wait and see the effects in a long run. There are 90 soft gels in this bottle that can last for 90 days. We would have time to see the effects.

I picked up this supplement because I have issues with very dry skin. One benefit is supposed to help with the skin issues. It’s a bit early to know if it’s helping. The soft gels are smaller in size and are easy to swallow with no taste or smell.

It took a surprisingly long time to receive this supplement, just about a whole month. While delivery time is not a part of my review, I’m noting it because if you need to take this supplement due to statin medication use, you want to make sure you don’t run out before this arrives. As the listing indicates, using statins to lower cholesterol depletes your body of CoQ10 which is essential for a lot of functions, especially as one ages. My MD told me it is very important to take a good CoQ10 supplement in addition to my statin. I’m not familiar with this brand, but it does state on the bottle that it is made in the USA. While not a guarentee of quality, it does lead me to believe that there are some quality controls in place. I also like that this is paired with MCT oil. If you’ve ever tried to listen to one of those posts from Gundry medical about the magic supplement that helps everything, but didn’t make it to the end of the 10 minute lead-in, the supplement is MCT oil. Getting it from any source is beneficial. I’m enthusiastic about this supplement and expect it will work well for me. The current 30% off coupon promotion makes this a good value in my opinion.
