Destined for the hands of the kid in the house who loves all moisturizers and balms with a tropical scent, we picked up this exfoliation scrub by Coochy. Before handing it off, we grabbed a little dab to make sure it doesn’t melt/scar your skin.
In the small amount we scraped off and applied to the back of our hand, we noticed a few things (both then and a little while later):
– It goes on mostly clear with a slight white translucence
– It’s more jelly-like than buttery or greasy, making this one of the few moisturizers/scrubs we’ve seen lately that ISN’T loaded with shea butter, which is a nice change of pace
– the exfoliating beads are VERY small compared to some of the other “exfoliating” scrubs/lotions and they’re definitely beads versus some of the coarser exfoliating choices that have a grittier, mineral/sandier feel
– the boasted mango and coconut scent is there but not nearly as over-bearing as many of the teen-targeted moisturizers our kiddo has requested.
– The small dab I took away covered a substantial portion of the back of my hand, which may not sound like much but I’ve got giganto-hands the size of baseball mitts, so that’s a little bit of scrub covering a lot of area with an amount not much larger than a dime.
***Overall Value***
A highly spreadable scrub for $20 in a 5 oz bottle isn’t bad for the price. And I groan a little bit for knowing that, because I wouldn’t have known that 5 years ago, but I do now, and I really really shouldn’t. Clearly I’m buying too much of this stuff for the wife and kiddo.

Goes on like lotion with sand. Gentle exfoliating leaves skin feels soft but not irradiated. Love this brand!

The scrub had the consistency of a baking soda paste, not very abrasive, which is probably good for delicate skin like your face or your private areas, but not so great for your legs or other areas that need a little more abrasive of a scrub.
The fragrance itself was fairly light, I could barely smell it on my skin after I had rinsed off.
I gave the scrub a little rating because when I was using it on my private parts in the lower hemisphere, so to speak, it created a very warm, borderline burning sensation. I understand that some may enjoy that burning sensation since there are warming lubrications that people purchase, but I don’t feel like that should be occurring in a body scrub.

Great scent and exfoliates well!

Like the brand suggests, these products are generally intended for use in more sensitive areas, if you know what I’m sayin’. They’re more sensitive and soothing so they’re more suitable for using around the lady garden than other products would be, but they work just as well anywhere else on your body, too.
I’m not usually big on getting product that’s a bit extra, but I couldn’t pass this up. This scrub is super gentle and perfect for when you want to give a little extra attention to the area around your bits n’ pieces, particularly before shaving the foof, but it works just as well anywhere else on your body, too (I use it on my legs, because they’re usually in need of some daily sloughing).
It smells amazing and tropical, but they kept the scent pretty light, thankfully, because we all know how those harsh chemical fragrances can throw off the sensitive downstairs microbiome, and that’s not a price anyone should have to pay just for wanting a little extra pampering with their landscaping.
It’s not the largest of bottles (tubes?), probably because it’s not really intended to be used over your entire body every day, but there’s enough of it to last a long while if you use it more selectively. The design is really pretty, so it looks nice on my shower shelf, and the cap is a cool design I’ve never seen before that’s convenient to operate with wet fingers.
Overall, it’s been really nice to treat myself with this yummy-smelling scrub, but for the price, I don’t know if it’s something that will become a staple in my shower routine.

I have super sensitive skin and I love the super fine grain of this formula. It doesn’t hurt at all to use on delicate skin, and it smells absolutely AMAZING. I love the extra level of exfoliation it provides. I will be buying this again!

This mango coconut body wash is a great product as it is not only cruelty free, but it also is free of parabens. It works to exfoliate dead skin cells to promote new healthy cells to grow.
The one thing worth noting in my order is that when I opened the lid, it seems as though the application lid has disconnected from the product, as it is stuck inside of the exterior lid. I’m not sure quite how to use the product like this, so I’m hoping to reach out to the seller to get a replacement. Photos are attached in my review. But other than that, this is a nice body and facial wash.

It would make sense if the follicle is blocked by something that this exfoliation removes, but it is largely due to curling hair well before it can exit. So it’s a weird claim to make and detracts from its other positive qualities.
The bottle cap twists and the scrub comes out of a hole in the cap. It’s more convenient if you’ve ever had to reorient a tube since the cap top was in the way. I had freshly shaved and applied it to the suggested region, and it gently exfoliates with a nice sized grit. My skin was left feeling soft and radiant.
It has a fruity tropical scent which is kinda fun in the shower. It can be used all over the body though I use an Korean exfoliating towel for the parts that can both take it and need it. So having a product in the shower for a specialized purpose is de rigueur here.
