This is a good travel/sample size Clinique product that I can take on the go.
I usually have full size items that are hard to put in my luggage but these will be perfect and my skin will be moisturized. I do however think that the mascara is little dried out because I couldn’t get any out. But the lipstick is good and stays on long period of time.

Clinique Icons Set. The set comes with a mascara and I cannot be happier with it. It does not leave clumps on my eye lashes and they look very natural. The moisturizing cream works well. The lipstick feels nice and I like the color but this color may not be for everybody. This set is very small and I feel it is only made so people can try it. I am very happy with this product and definitely I will be getting the mascara again.

Now that I’m older, I find myself needing moisturizer more than ever. The skin around my nose has gotten very dry, and the Moisture Surge moisturizer was able to make my skin look and feel better without any kind of greasy feeling. The almost lipstick is a translucent color that almost mimics the color of my natural lips, but it’s just a tad darker. But it’s great for the kind of look where you don’t want to look too made up with lip liner, etc. The mascara is a great size for travel, and is ok – nothing spectacular, but it does the trick. Since I am a Vine member, I did not pay the listed price, but I don’t think I would have gotten it if I were not a member. You can absolutely score these identical products when the department stores have their “gift with purchase” events.

Almost Lipstick, Black Honey Color – 0.4oz
The products are easy to apply and make a visibly noticeable difference when worn. The Moisture Surge 100H Auto-Replenishing Hydrator is my favorite item of the trio. The lotion feels super silky soft when applied and leaves my skin feeling equally silky soft. The High Impact Mascara added a dramatic element and helped my eyes stand out. It lifted and separated my lashes without leaving any clumps. The Almost Lipstick, Black Honey, glided across my lips effortlessly and left a beautiful color that complimented my medium complexion skin. Once applied, it felt lightweight with a shine and a hint of stickiness just like some competitor lipsticks. It had a long wear time and needed re-application after eating. The mascara and lipstick were easy to wipe off at the end of the day with either a makeup removing wipe or a cotton round with makeup remover. The Moisture Surge is Made in the USA. The High Impact Mascara is Made in Canada. The Almost Lipstick is Made in Belgium. I was impressed with all of the items in this set and have included them in my daily beauty routine. I will definitely buy this trio again.

I love this set for traveling. Their minis to try out. I like the mascara and moisture surge products. The lipstick is too dark for my complexion, but I ordered it mostly for the moisturizer and mascara, which is really nice.
Clinique is a trusted name in skincare. This was an amazing value for the set

I absolutely love all three items in this set from Clinique! My absolute favorite? The Almost Lipstick in Black Honey. This color is so versatile and wears wonderfully. It’s creamy and moisturizing and just sheer enough. The Moisture Surge is so wonderful for my mature skin (I’m 58). It applies easily, has that signature fragrance, and absorbs like a dream! The High Impact Mascara in black is a good mascara, not my favorite Clinique mascara but great for the travel makeup bag.
Value: Now here is where this set kind of fails. If you are a Clinique wearer, you know that you can get these items “free” when you purchase a certain dollar amount of Clinique products, so charging for this kit is interesting to me. I will say if you are looking for smaller, travel size items, this is your kit for sure. Otherwise, buy your Clinique when they are having the fun give-aways and you’ll probably score these three items that way.

This Clinique set is fantastic for a simple, effective beauty routine. The Almost Lipstick in Black Honey is universally flattering, the Moisture Surge 100H provides lasting hydration, and the High Impact Mascara adds volume without clumping. A perfect gift or treat for yourself if you want a fresh, glowing look.

The products are great, but for the cost, I don’t think it’s fair that I get something that is a free gift with purchase. Pretty lame!!
