It’s alright, but when compared to king C gillette soft beard conditioner the king C is much better it makes my beard softer, has a better scent that I prefer and it’s great for itchy beard. Also cost less and less is needed to apply. I wanted to try the porter scotch based on reviews but it’s just okay I was hoping it would help for it by beard it doesn’t. Gonna keep using it for now I may update my review later but so far after using for 3 days not a big fan.

This conditioner works well and makes my beard feel healthy and great. My beard feels nice and hydrated and allows the balm I have to style the beard better. Does not feel too thick, and goes in with no scrubbing. Only downside is that I’m not a huge fan of the smell, but it’s not overpowering.

Love the smell. Never used a “leave in” conditioner so that was a small learning curve, but it’s good stuff. Smell is great, soft facial hair throughout the day and keeps the skin less flaky.

I bought this for my husband because his beard was really dry and rough (not exactly the most comfortable to kiss) since he’s been using it, I’ve really noticed how soft and smooth his beard is. I like this stuff but I don’t love it. 4.5/5 stars. The smell is warm and pleasant, almost root beer like, but not quite. It is not my favorite smell, but it’s not bad. It gets old, I’ll put it that way. I prefer to add a few drops of one of my aftershaves to it, then mix it in my hands, then apply it. Moving on from the smell, it has the consistency of hand lotion but a touch runnier. Easy to spread in my beard. Not too shiny but more control and sheen than dry, wiry, unconditioned beard hair. It’s a good product. I wish they had more scents available, perhaps one more cooler and cologne-like, that’s my only complaint and it’s not a big complaint.
