These come well packaged and seem to do what’s advertised so far…but my own dairy issues come and go, so it’s hard to tell.
What’s frustrating is the label on the bottle. The only ingredient (before “other ingredients”/inactive ingredients) is their Enzyme “blend”. What is in the blend? In the past I’ve used a different brand which clearly states on the bottle amounts of Protease, Lactase, and Lipase, and I’ll be switching back to that other brand: I like to know what’s going into my body.
Currently, additional ingredients are listed on the product description, but online product descriptions can quickly and easily change. An online listing is no substitute for full disclosure on the bottle label. I hope they can correct this going forward since the concept seems good, if the ingredients actually match what’s in an online description (currently showing as “Lactase USP, Protease, HemiSEB – a proprietary Hemicellulase, Cellulase, Alpha Galactosidase, and Amylase”).

Ok I’ll just get straight to the point. It didn’t work consistently for me. I tried it with a grilled cheese sandwich. Two buttered wheat slices, 2 slices of American cheese product, ham. Took a pill before I ate it. No problems. About 6 hours later, I ate a salad with about half a cup of 4 cheddar blend and half a cup of ranch dressing. I took 1 pill before that one, no good, I was in the bathroom literally right after I finished the salad. The next day, I took 1 pill before eating 2 slices of left over pizza. Straight to the bathroom about 15 minutes later.
I don’t know what’s up, but it was able to handle maybe a little bit of cheese like a snack size, but It didn’t seem to be able to handle a meal sized serving of cheese.
Another thing though is that a lot of other lactose intolerance relief pills have a count of something like an FCC that I can compare amongst them. This one doesn’t, so I literally have no idea how effective it is compared to the other ones I use.
I think if I take more than 1 though, it should work as well as the other ones I use.

As someone who has been lactose-sensitive for the better part of two decades, I have had my fair share of lactase enzyme pills. The greatest challenge in taking and transporting lactase enzymes is that they tend to break easily, whether in your bag, a pill box, or even in your pocket. What’s great about these Nature’s Craft Fast Acting Dairy Relief Pills is that they are in a gelatin capsule, which allows for less breakage. They also work well and are easy to take. Overall, highly recommended!

The aptly named “Dairy Relief” product arrived in a double sealed bottle. Inside there was both a desiccant sachet (to absorb moisture) and cotton ball (to prevent capsule jostling during transit). The primary packaging label on the bottle (no secondary IFC with this product) contains all of the necessary information – ingredients, instructions for use, manufacturer and location (made in the USA – great), lot number and expiration (over 2.5 years of shelf life for the bottle I received). The bottle contains 60 doses of 500mg powdered enzymes (plus excipients) in a standard 2-piece clear capsule.
Depending on your level of dairy sensitivity, this product may offer advantages over conventional lactase enzyme products tablets/capsules. The manufacturer claims its “DairySEB” enzyme blend includes 6 enzymes to break down lactose and other milk proteins. I never had issues using regular lactase tablets….but this product also worked for me. As always, individual results will vary. The only negative is the price – this product is quite expensive compared to either brand name Lactaid or generic OTC lactase offerings.

This is Natures Craft brand Fast Acting Dairy Relief Pills – Lactose Intolerance with Multi Enzyme Complex for Gas Bloating & Digestive Support Powerful Lactase Blend Carb Protein Digestion 60 supplement. The bottle has 60 capsules that will last a month. The supplement is a proprietary blend of enzymes that help your body break down dairy.
I have had Natures Craft products before and have always liked them. This is a good product too. I like that they are made in the USA in a GMP facility. I like that they are always non-GMO.

I like that it’s made in the USA and in a GMP facility. It’s difficult to say whether it actually helps because digestion issues are complex and it’s often not just one food intolerance that can cause gas and bloat, although I do know that I am sensitive to lactose.
What I don’t like about this product (hence only 3 stars) is that the product name implies that it’s a lactose intolerance product, but when you look at the ingredient list it’s mixture of a “proprietary blend” of digestive enzymes. Why proprietary? Why not just tell us what’s in the pills? Most other food digestion pills tell you. In this case, I want to know exactly how much lactase enzyme I’m getting so that I can compare it in price to other lactase products. In this case, it’s about 4X the price of a lactase only product that I often use.
As far as the other digestion enzymes in the product, I don’t need them because I already take a very good multienzyme digestion product and they tell me exactly which enzymes I’m getting. I simply don’t need any additional proteases or lipases.
Overall, I think you can do better by shopping around for a lactase-only supplement or at least one that tells you how much lactase is in the supplement for price comparison sake. Oh, a word of advice, avoid the chewable products because many (all?) of them contain the artificial sweetener xylitol or mannitol which are high FODMAP ingredients that can cause bloating and diarrhea.

These are not at all suited for people unable to swallow large pills because they are encapsulated and therefore cannot be cut to smaller, easier to manage pieces.
