A lot of women need calcium as they get older and this is a great source of it. I don’t care for milk so being able to add calcium to my diet each day this was is good. Simple to swallow and taste fine.

365 by Whole Foods Market Calcium with Vitamin D3 Tablets are standard calcium supplement tablets. Each tablet supplies about 50% of an adult’s DV of both calcium–from calcium carbonate–and vitamin D3. They are large tablets–about 7/8″ long–as calcium tablets with calcium carbonate generally are. They do have a smooth coating on them to make swallowing easier. The bottle has a safety seal and the expiration date is on the bottom. Mine says 7/26, so about a year and a half out. You get 120 tablets/bottle. At $16.79, these cost about 2x my regular brand, so I wouldn’t consider this a particularly good value. Perhaps they’re higher because they are vegetarian?

I’ve previously bought 365 by WFM so there is always reassurance there. And, they clearly put the lot number and expiration on the bottle The tablets are larger than some brands I’ve purchased but not by a lot. And I don’t think I’ve ever seen a small calcium tablet. I do like they bundle it with D3.
I also appreciate that I don’t have to pull out a magnifying glass to read the label. But, it would great if WFM had a link pointing to their banned ingredient list. They seem to highlight this on the bottle so I’m surprised the don’t offer more details.

They’re large and have something of a chalky taste, so be prepared to down one with a large gulp of water. And other stores offer their own brands of the same vitamin combo at less than half the price, so watch for price reductions.

I love that it had added D3 to help with calcium absorption. Be warned, the tablets are quite big, I am used to taking bigger pills or capsules so it doesn’t bother me much. It is coated and it goes down smoothly.
It came with 120 tablets and it should be taken twice daily, with food. This is a 2-month supply. Though a bit more expensive than other brands, I love the 365 brand by Whole Foods so I will continue using it.

I usually take calcium and d3 as separate supplements, this makes it easier, all in one pill. It does have a slight taste so you have to swallow it fast with water, other than that it’s the same quality as other brands. The outside labeling of the bottle feels cheap though, it was almost removed when it arrived. Other than that, came sealed and good quality.

one supplement, two benefits – calcium & D. These are a great size and so easy to swallow; no after-taste either.

As always with calcium, huge tablets. I have a swallowing disorder, and I am able to get these down. They must have a little “slip” on the outside. But even if I could not swallow them whole, I would just chew these. They have no real taste, but they do have a chalk texture. And you can also crush these with a pill crusher and stir into something like apple sauce. If you are like me, worried about osteoporosis enough that your doctor says to take them, you find a way to make them work. I am happy to use this store brand as there is less worry about having to switch brands or not being able to find another brand. Whole Foods is almost always well stocked.
I am glad these contain vitamin D3. One less pill to take.
