I developed conjunctivitis and as part of my treatment, my ophthalmologist urged me to put a hot/warm compress on my eye for 5 to 10 minutes at a time a couple times a day. I have a busy schedule and found myself not making the time for it as often as I should have. Then my primary care doctor told me about this product and directed me to Amazon to purchase it. It’s perfect. So convenient! It doesn’t drip water constantly; it only covers one eye at a time, and it is heated in the microwave in seconds. Somehow it provides the damp heat I need and feels great.
My doctor wants me to continue to use it for dry eye that develops as a result of hours of computer use every day. I use it more often, because I can continue to work, read or watch TV with the other eye while I am using it. Also, it’s so easy to use that I use it more often, which has greatly alleviated my ongoing dry eye problem now that my conjunctivitis is cured. My eyes feel so much better. Great product!

I’ve had stubborn styes a couple of times. I’ve appreciated the functionality of eye compresses that can be heated in the microwave. However, there are times when I don’t want both eyes covered, either because I don’t want to overexpose the healthy eye to excessive heat or because I need to see to do something. This single eye compress is really great for those times. Plus, it makes me feel like a pirate. I can’t comment on ease of cleaning because I’ve not cleaned it, yet.

Suppose to open pours in eyelid but I found it difficult to get the right temperature in microwave. Ruined one patch because it was to hot & had to order a second one that my husband heats up for me but to much running up & down the steps to the microwave, so consequently don’t use it much.
