I was hoping for really nice scented natural lotion but I don’t smell anything at all. It’s not greasy but also not too moisturizing either. I find myself using this lotion and shortly after putting my Weleda moisturizer on.

I bought this because it didn’t have parabens in it.
However my skin continued to dry out. Moisture in skin lasted only a couple hours.

I ordered this organic lotion to try it out, and I ended up loving it! It doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy like other lotions, especially in this summer heat. My skin feels silky and hydrated. The scent is super nice on my sensitive nose, which is a plus for me; other organic lotions I’ve used tend to be overpowering with scents that can be too obnoxious. This will now replace my other lotions, and can’t wait till winter come so I can see if it’ll help my stay just as hydrated as now.

Common Ground Hand & Body Lotion isn’t runny but is quite lightweight and lacks a creamy or comforting feel. It doesn’t moisturize my skin enough to use this as a body lotion, and it really doesn’t hydrate my hands enough. Also, while not greasy, it goes on sticky feeling and when the sticky feel goes away my hands feel like they have a weird dry or chalky feel.
This lotion does leave my hands a bit softer, but it doesn’t alleviate the dryness or make my hands feel comfortable so I need to apply a different lotion or cream shortly after use. The fragrance isn’t overly strong, but it smells kind of earthy and I find the scent kind of funky. It’s not horrible but isn’t a fragrance I enjoy, so I’d rather this lotion was fragrance free.
I checked the ingredients using Skincarisma and see little in the formula that helps dry skin, except glycerin (and maybe avocado extract). The description highlights that this lotion is “formulated“ in Australia, which enticed me to try it as I bought over the counter Australian skin care products for many years as they were superior to what I could find in the US to treat my son’s eczema. But it turns out “formulated” is different than being made in Australia as this was made in Thailand.
This lotion doesn’t hydrate my hands or body enough. I do have dry skin, so it’s possible those with less dry skin who like a very lightweight product and don’t mind the chalky finish may like it better. Still, there’s nothing really special about this lotion, though it is nonirritating to my sensitive skin and free of alcohol, parabens and silicone. This lotion is just okay at best. 3 stars.

I used this lotion during Covid. I get really bad eczema and the constant use of hand sanitizer made my hands so dry. This lotion moisturized my dry skin and soothed my eczema. I usually use coconut oil and hate the greasiness, this lotion leaves no greasy residue which is my favorite thing about using it. Also smells great! Reminds me of being on vacation.
