I recently picked up ColourPop’s Key Lime Lip Balm, and I’ve got some mixed feelings about it. Let’s start with the packaging, which is honestly fantastic. The tube is sturdy and slightly oversized, giving it a premium feel. The twist-up mechanism works smoothly – no complaints there. It definitely looks and feels more expensive than it is.
Now for the not-so-great parts. While it does moisturize my lips, it’s nothing special. The texture is a bit waxy, lacking that luxurious, melty feeling you want in a lip balm. But the biggest letdown? The taste. Despite being labeled as “Key Lime,” it tastes like old petroleum jelly – not appetizing at all. It actually makes me question the freshness of the ingredients. I can’t help but wonder if I got an old batch. While the packaging might be A+ worthy, the actual product inside falls pretty short of expectations. I’ll probably use it up since I have it, but I won’t be repurchasing. There are better lip balms out there for the price.

Super cute design, I got strawberry and it has a cute strawberry print and pretty pink color. Nice hydrating balm, I can feel it for a few hours after applying (as expected due to the shea butter which I love), and then my lips feel pretty good all day. I do reapply after eating/drinking to ensure they stay nice and hydrated. I live in a high desert area so it gets really dry. Haven’t had any issues with cracking on my lips yet since I’ve been using this in place of my normal balm (you can see how dry my hand is in the pic! very dry here). This is much cuter! Nice smooth application and good size, doesn’t take up too much space in my purse.

So soft. So smooth. So creamy. So hydrating. So moisturizing. Perfect tint without looking like “too” much color. PERFECT for this cold weather, my lips get extra dry and this lip balm instantly heals them and gives them the moisture they desperately need!!
And the smell of strawberries – oh my goodness!! So good!!!

This strawberry lip balm smells so nice and leaves my lips feeling very moisturized and soft. It has good ingredients and I don’t feel my lips getting dried out after using it (like it is with some lip balms). Nice to have in my bag!

I like this ColourPop lip balm in coconut for the moisturizing. It glides on easily and had a nice feel.

Cons: Although it had a coconut scent, it also smelled a little stale (like when you open an old box of cereal). The product wasn’t safety sealed at all; not sure why any product like this isn’t.

This lip balm is easy to apply and feels moisturizing and comfortable to wear, and it seems to last for a few hours on the lips. It has a really lovely coconut scent, but I didn’t notice a taste. The tube works well and the product is easy to dispense.

This is a good basic balm for simple days. It does a fair job moisturizing and protecting lips from cold. I’ve used the key lime before and like it a lot. I got strawberry and both me and my young daughters love it. It’s a very mild sweetness and feels comfortable on the lips.
