I have been looking for vegetarian friendly collagen supplements for a while, since most collagen supplements are made of bovine ingredients. This one has both the eggshell membrane collagen and hyaluronic acid, both of which are great for your skin! I love that it’s only one capsule per day and it’s a two month supply! This supplement is made in Slovenia. I also like that the jar itself has a really good safety seal in place with a tab you have to pull off the plastic lid to even get to the inner seal. Anyway, I’m super happy to have vegetarian collagen and will definitely be getting more of this supplement when I run out!

I like that the dosage for these is one capsules. They are easy to swallow with no digestive impact. I feel they help my skin, hair, and nails to be stronger. They contain some hyaluronic acid, which is a plus. There are no fillers in this. It’s a win for me. They are vegetarian, but they are not vegan (eggshell membrane).

Stumbled upon these collagen caps, and they’ve been a solid addition to my daily routine. Right off the bat, what I appreciated was the lack of any weird smell. Some supplements can be off-putting, but these are scent-free, which is a big plus in my book.
They’re surprisingly easy to swallow, too. I’ve had my fair share of horse-pill-sized supplements, and these are not that. The fact that they’re from organic eggshell membrane with types 1, 5, and 10 collagen, plus hyaluronic acid, without the usual capsule taste or smell, is impressive.
Been taking them for a while now, and while I’m not looking to turn back the clock or anything, it’s more about maintaining what I’ve got. They slot into my routine without any fuss. No green coloring around the gums or any weird reactions, which is more than I can say for some of the stuff I’ve tried.

Prior to finding this product, I was not aware that eggshell membrane contains collagen. This particular eggshell membrane supplement by Heiltropfen indicates that it contains collagen types 1, 5 and 10. It also contains hyaluronic acid. This supplement originates from Europe, specifically Slovenia. I like that this product indicates that the eggshell membrane it contains is organic. I like that the label on the bottle displays a symbol that says ISO 22000/Certified Food Safety Management System. And I like that a product website address is visible on the supplement label. This appears to be a good quality supplement and I recommend it.

Most collagen comes from animal sources, and technically this does too (egg shells) but it’s certainly a great choice for vegetarians who are interested in more collagen. It also has some types of collagen than are not found in my comparable animal-based option. The review asked about pain relief and value for money: both of these would get low scores from me. I think it’s several times more expensive than comparable animal-based options. And collagen does not make my back or hips feel any better–it’s more for ensuring you don’t lack this in your diet. Still, overall, it’s a good source of collagen and may be among few options for vegetarians.

These are ease to swallow and a good source of collagen, which I take for skin care. The review asked me to Star evaluate for pain relief and I really haven’t noticed any effect regarding pain relief, nor do I take these pills for that reason.

This is an impressive collagen supplement because it is made from organic eggshell membrane combined with Hyaluronic Acid, something I have not encountered before. All the other collagen supplements I am familiar with are usually from cows or seafood, so this is a nice alternative. Although some staunch vegetarians might still consider this an animal product, from my standpoint, I see it as vegetarian since eggs are a living source of protein and are also very nourishing.
It also goes well if having a collagen supplement with breakfast. It is a good value with Type I, V and X collagen with one capsule a day for a 60 day supply. It is easy to swallow and combined with a glass of water. I recommend this product to those who are not allergic to eggs.

My wife started using collagen protein powder and thought to give these a try. Hard to quantify any specific results. The bottle is decently made, the capsules are easy to swallow. Overall not a whole lot to say about them.
