I really like this supplement because it’s so much more than collagen. I checked the label against my usual multivitamin, and this powder contains nearly all of the same vitamins and minerals in similar amounts. Along with that, it also has several compounds that are complementary to collagen in that they also benefit your hair/skin/nails. The taste is pleasant and not overpowering, and it dissolves reasonably well (better in warm liquids than cold ones). I want to continue using this product once this tub runs out, and the only thing giving me pause is the price. I’m thinking that if I don’t buy my multivitamin (because this powder already provides those vitamins), that saves me $20 towards purchasing this. The only reason for my one star deduction is the price point, because it’s an excellent product.

I’ve tried a number of collagen supplements that I’ve liked for different reasons. And what really stands out to me about the Essential Nutrition collagen powder is its wonderful passion fruit flavor. I would say that the brand has definitely gone the extra mile in placing a focus on the flavor of this supplement because not only is it great mixed with juice, it’s also great mixed with just plain water. This supplement also appeals to me because it contains hyaluronic acid. And this may well be the first collagen supplement that I’ve taken that contains orthosilicic acid and I’ve been reading some very interesting things about it. I also like that the supplement contains some of the key vitamins. I like this collagen powder, and I recommend it.

This powder dissolves really well. It also tastes and smells good. One scoop seems like a lot. I mix it into 16 ounces of water and that makes the flavor perfect for me. So far my hair and nails do seem to be growing faster than normal. That’s mostly all I’ve noticed about it.

I’m really impressed with this Collagen Powder from Essential! The passion fruit flavor is refreshing and makes it easy to enjoy every day. As far as collagen powders go, this is quite a nice one. Previously I’ve used unflavored and mixed it in with coffee or soups. This one, though, has a nice light and fruity flavor. It’s great with my favorite fruit herbal teas and even on its own! Although the flavor is quite light, I prefer it with my fruit tea. I started taking collagen a few months ago, so I can’t say that I’ve noticed a big change in my body as far as that goes, but it does seem to be of good quality. It dissolves easily, making it easier to take because I hate messing around with lumpy mixes. I like this collagen powder and would purchase it again.
