Easy to use and cleared my dry eyes.

The bottle is stupid hard to use. But, these are the best eye drops I’ve ever used.
You either get 2 drops or 0 drops. The pressure required to squeeze out 1 drop changes dramatically depending on how full the bottle is. If you do manage to get 1 drop, it’s either a tiny drop or a huge drop.
Please put these drops in a better bottle!

Just had LASIK surgery, and since I’ll be using a lot of eye drops over the next few months, decided to buy one of each of the recommended drops on my aftercare list. They only recommended preservative free drops, and the photo show the four brands I’ve been using.
Slime factor:
Optase – the slimiest (thickest)
Systane Complete PF – also pretty slimey
Refresh Relieva PF – not very slimey at all
Thera tears – least slimey (feels like regular water)
The Optase is expensive, but it works well. It does leave my cheeks with a slime residue, so I splash or wipe my face off a few times a day. That’s not necessary, but I prefer to. It doesn’t crud or anything. I think “300 doses” is a touch optimistic. I did the math and for me, it came out to closer to 200 or so.
I gravitate to the Systane the most often, all said and done. It does crud my eyelashes a bit after several uses in a row, but it keeps my eyes lubricated a good long time. I found it similar to Optase with a little less slime factor. I sometimes splash off my eyes when using this one too.
I like Refresh for different reasons, it feels light and clean due it’s more watery consistency. But it doesn’t keep my eyes lubricated as long, so I keep this at the ready when I do use it. I have to reapply more often.
Lastly, Theratears. It doesn’t really market as PF, but in small print, the box does say it’s “preservative free in the eye.” Not sure what that means, but it was on my recommended list so I bought it. This is most like a “regular” eye drop. Feels very light and watery, and comes in a regular dropper bottle without the vacuum PF nub. Works well and I got a bigger bottle at a good price point.
All in all, I like all of them for different reasons and like to vary it up day to day depending on what I’m doing. If I’m out and about with less time to reapply,
I go for the Optase or Systane. When I’m lounging at home with more leeway to reapply, I go with Refresh and Theratears because it feels less gunky. Hope this helps.

Systane never disappoints. I prefer the preservative free eye drops and these are one of the best in the market. It is recommended by eye doctor and works great. Price on amazon is cheaper than local pharmacy.

Gives relief for dry eye. I find it soothing, and find relief from dry eyes to be long lasting. Like the size of this bottle and find putting drops in eyes easy.

It works well but impossible to get just one drop in the eye. It runs down my face no matter how I squeeze the bottle. I have to use it six times a day and that means I’ll be using at least twice as much liquid as gets in my eyes. That’s expensive! I’ll definitely be switching brands.

Packaging: Shipped in a Amazon brown small box and the contents were in a branded white box. Comes with both small bottles and instructions.
Product Impressions: READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Got Lasik a few days ago and they have been wonderful. Yes, they are supposed to be milky white colored and are preservative free. I recommend using these for a week BEFORE Lasik, the day of Lasik, and for a MONTH AFTER Lasik. They feel refreshing in my eyes and have been instrumental for the healing process.
Usability: Works well for my use of pre/post Lasik “maintenance” drops.
Overall Thoughts: Great and effective drops for Lasik and highly recommend them to others looking for safe and nourishing drops! Just be sure to check “Good By” date as you may get some that are close to expiration. Mine were luckily a year out from expiring and will continue to use them as I heal!
**Edit 1 Month Post Op:
Drops are a life saver. They give instant relief and make my eyes feel so much better and cool. I bought two more packs! Will continue to use for another month or so as needed!
**Edit 2 Months Post Op:
Eyes have fully recovered and the drops aren’t needed as much as before however they are still recommended at least twice daily according to my optometrist. These still feel great and I use one small bottle every 1.5-2 weeks now as I do the drops more than twice a day as needed. 11/10 would recommend.
**Edit 3 Months Post Op:
Eyes aren’t dry much anymore even though I use a screen all day for work and at night for gaming. I mainly only use them now as directed by the doctor but I only really need them in the morning when I wake up and 10-20 mins before bed. They really give good instant moisture and relief!
**Edit 4 Months Post Op:
Vision is still clear and is 20/15 in both eyes. Thanks to these drops, the doc told me my dryness is completely gone and any residual dryness is gone as well. I only need to use these drops 2-4 times a day as needed but it’s just part of my normal routine. Great product as I just purchased more today!
**Last Edit 5 Months Post Op (October 2024):
Vision is still great- 20/15. Drops have cleared my dry eye and doc visits are perfect. I buy a set of these drops about every 1 1/2 – 2 months now as I use it 2 times daily and more as needed since I use a computer a lot. Great formula, instant relief. Thankful I have had these.
