Well I am dubious about its actual primary action. It seems to be laxative. It makes the baby poo fast, right after eating, and kinda provides a relief BUT the baby eats milk with 4 drops of this product and poos immediately, so he wants to eat again faster
I suppose the product may affect the digestion. It is laxative.

I’m not really sure that I noticed any appreciable difference using this product, but every baby is different. Mine had awful gas/colic and constipation for the first 7-8 weeks. We tried everything, including Simethicone gas drops in every bottle, Culturelle, gripe water, Dr. Brown’s gripe belt, Windi straws, bicycle kicks, and Gentlease formula. Nothing helped.
We couldn’t be sure whether or not baby had a lactose intolerance, but we gave this a try anyway. I had low supply and was supplementing, so I added it to both my breast milk and his Gentlease until we ran out (at which point I switched to an actual lactose sensitivity formula, which really did seem to help, but the Colief alone did not).
I didn’t ask my pediatrician if it was okay to use this, though she did tell me it was okay to use probiotics, and since lactase is a natural enzyme, I felt comfortable using it. Reviewers complaining about how quickly it expires — again, it’s a natural enzyme that breaks down over time. That’s just the way it is. Write the expiration date on your bottle and toss it when that day comes. Not worth taking any chances with your baby.
As with all things when it comes to colic, it’s hard to pinpoint whether any solution is actually effective other than time. For me, Colief was not the miracle cure that some reviewers claimed, but then neither was Culturelle. I can say what did seem to help my newborn was switching to an actual lactose-sensitivity formula. I understand this is not a helpful solution for EBF babies with colic, so I say you have nothing to lose by trying this. My baby eventually grew out of his colic around 7-8 weeks, but I still use the generic Sam’s Club version of Similac Pro-sensitive and he rarely has troubles with gas anymore (he’s 10 weeks now).
Hang in there! Colic doesn’t last forever.

Ich empfehle diese Produkt. Haben wir angefangen mit Erste Woche alt meine Baby und das hat viel geholfen beim Bauchweh und sie hat keine Koliken bekommen

I have tried everything – 4 or 5 different formulas, Gripe Water, Colic drops, Gas Drops, Probiotics, Windis, prescription Pepcid – but this product immediately made a HUGE impact! I buy very low Lactose formula for sensitive tummies first of all – then add this product- bringing the Lactose content down to zero. I prepared several bottles ahead of time and added these drops. I give them a shake whenever I walked by the fridge. I let them sit for several hours before use. Results – Literally the first night – he went from crying, arching his back, and waking every 2 hours – to sleeping 4 or 5 hours straight and drinking his bottle in a relaxed manner. Absolute game changer!
I will continue to give him the Pepcid, Probiotics, Gas Drops and so on….. However I will definitely continue to use these Lactose Enzymes and prepare bottles ahead of time so that the Enzymes have time to dissolve the Lactose – OMG. Highly recommend!

If you’re dealing with colic you probably need this. My daughter would not sleep longer than 30 mins and would scream when she was awake. We tried everything: swaddling, gripe water, probiotics, the windis, massaging, reflexology, different burping techniques, gas drops, etc! Nothing worked! My husband and I were so stressed we were fighting constantly, my baby blues was extremely intensified I would cry constantly. I started researching and thought my breastfed baby might have a intolerance to lactose (no matter if you consume dairy or not there’s still lactose in breast milk). All the symptoms lined up so I said why not try it, the first night she slept 3 consecutive hours and it felt like a miracle. We are on day 4 and I am thanking the lord above for this product because it saved my sanity and allowed me to sleep and actually bond better with my baby. She’s not in pain anymore. She still has a few moments when she’s fussy but it’s decreased by 95% so that’s a WIN. Also when they have lactose intolerance they might have a diaper rash that seems impossible to rid of due to the acidic nature of the poo and my little one had it we changed her constantly and it was not going anywhere! Since we started these drops it’s made her poo less acidic and the rash is gone! Idk why this isn’t talked about more amoung moms or drs or even social media.

increíble producto! Mi bebe tenia colicos de lactante que usualmente eran por las noches, 2-3 horas de llanto constante nada lo calmaba. Le di una oportunidad a este producto y en tres dias ya paso a la historia. De verdad lo recomiendo.
