This product is great at first I was shocked because of the black charcoal color but it work for my baby and soothes her also helped with her reflux.

All my babies get bad gas and get really upset and fussy and don’t sleep too well because they wake up with gas. I discovered this with my third child, but due to the expense, I only used it very sparingly, so it didn’t help much, but it gave relief when I used it. Now, with my 5th child, I decided it would be worth it if it gave my son relief. I have only used it mainly in the evening before bed so he gets a better night’s sleep. When he was younger, like a few months old, he would get horrible bouts of gas every night and wake up a ton throughout the night fussing, sometimes every 10 minutes it would seem or anytime I put him down. I would give him colic calm and he would usually burp, fart, spit up, and poop within 10 minutes. Sometimes all of the above. It was crazy and he would be so much better. Someone had mentioned constipation, but with my babies, it had the opposite effect. They would go potty and feel better.
I started giving it every night whether he would get fussy or not and he would have a much better night. I had tried (to save money) to only give it to him when he had a problem, but if he seemed to be doing fine and not gassy, inevitably he’d wake up throughout the night with gas and it was better to just give it to him before he had a problem rather than once he was in pain. It also makes him go to sleep. Sometimes when he’s fussy and overtired and just won’t go to sleep or wakes up every time I lay him down, if I give him colic calm, he goes to sleep within about 10 minutes typically and it’s a life saver for me. Sometimes it’s taken 2 back to back doses, but no more than that. If he’s still fussy after a half hour, I give him another dose and it does the trick. I love that it’s natural, or atleast mostly natural, and it works. Amazon seems to have the best price (at the moment) anywhere with their 2 pack. My son is now 5 months old and I’ve almost used 2 bottles, so it’s worth it to me. He’s a very happy baby overall!

Let me just start this off by saying, I have four children and it wasn’t until my third child that we discovered this product. Oh how I wish we’d had this when I had my twins (they were my first). All of my children had such uncomfortable gas. I always felt so horrible. No matter what I ate, it always seemed to affect them negatively (I nursed all my children). I avoided broccoli like it was the plague! Then when my daughter was just a couple of weeks old, we heard about Colic Calm. I was immediately put off by the price (it was $18 a bottle at that time). And not knowing if it would work, I was very hesitant. But let me tell you, this was absolutely one of the greatest purchases we’ve ever made as parents. About 10-15 minutes after administering the first dose we noticed a huge difference in our little newborn daughter. She no longer had to scrunch up in pain and scream because it had calmed her tummy. We did end up having to use double the dose most of the time with the kids but with it being all natural and stating that it was fine to do on the box, we didn’t feel like we were harming out children by doing so. The other great thing about this product is that it can help to ease the discomforts from acid reflux. None of our children experienced this but I have had several friends that we’ve recommended this product to (because of the aloe) and they came back telling me how it made a HUGE difference for them. Obviously if your baby is uncomfortable from something else, like teething, this isn’t going to help. It’s meant to help with gas and acid reflux and that’s just what it does. Sometimes it can be hard to read the baby’s signs as to what’s causing their discomfort. The great thing about this product is that you don’t have to feel guilty giving it to them even if their discomfort ends up being caused by something else because this is all natural and can be used right from birth. We now give this product to all new expecting parents because it’s just that awesome. I was so thankful that someone had recommended this to us and I now recommend it to anyone and everyone who will listen. It saved us a LOT of heartache and not having to listen to our babies be in pain. I’d use it again in a heartbeat! Just don’t let the dark color throw you off. It will make the stools dark but it’s completely normal. If you know this ahead of time and prepare yourself for it, it’s really not such a shock and won’t be so bad. I HIGHLY recommend this product.

Wow just wow! I trial and errored EVERYTHING.. elimination diet, pumping some milk off before nursing, extra slow flow bottles, gripe water, mylecon… you name it and nothing worked. My 3-6wk old was so miserable he couldn’t rest at all during the day for more than 5 minutes at a time even on me contact napping. That resulted in overtiredness and basically hours of witching.
I would work and work to get him to sleep only for him to wake up crying 5 minutes later. I was about to get him tested for milk protein allergy even though I’m lactose free and he’s on break milk and then I tried this stuff.
He is a whole new baby! Eats, lays in his pillow or floor thing and sleeps. I can actually put him down to rest too.
The only annoying thing is this stuff is black and stains easily so always have a wipe handy when administering it.
Also it makes baby’s poop brown.
