Great idea, doesn’t recognize toothbrush frequently. Feel like a lot of time wasted trying to get it to register. My son does enjoy brushing his teeth now and loves the prizes and masks.

I love this toothbrush for the kids! I seriously can not believe something so inexpensive could be the answer for me. i have bought so many toothbrushes over the years and my kids still fought me to not brush. And here we are with a manual toothbrush and the kids are begging me to brush!

My oldest has issues with his hand dexterity and this helps to remind him how to turn the brush the correct way. We love it and it’s definitely improved his brushing skills.

the addition of the game has been wonderful at my house. No more fighting about the night time routine! I’ve never understood why kids hate brushing their teeth, but incorporating it into a game is perfect.

My daughter brushes more often and with autism her ability to stay for two minutes will detour her from brushing. The 1 star disappointed her so much as well as it not reading where she brushed correctly. She got to upset w it so im not using it again till I can change time frame for her to keep it positive. They need to allow parents to adjust

My 7 year old really loves this app, no issue with teeth time now. Its fun and easy to use gain diamonds when brushing and win virtual items. I only have one fault and thats I think sometimes it goes too fast,especially when my daughter is trying to turn the brush for the right angle.otherwise for the price this is amazing, no issues with the app,works fine.i would say if you have a child who likes to take selfies after with the masks,be prepared for lots of photos!!!!!!

J’ai acheté cette brosse à dent pour mes enfants mais au final l’application n’est plus disponible au Canada… donc je me ramasse avec deux brosses à dent ordinaire à prix de fou. 2 x plus de 40$ pour des brosses à dent ordinaire qui n’offre rien sans l’application!!

This app is genius!! My daughter went from hating to brush her teeth to begging to brush them. Her technique has improved as well. There is a parent section where I can review the kids brush sessions and see what areas on the teeth she needs to focus harder on. Also, the magik is the old version of the new hum toothbrush (so it is cheaper) and still works with the new app. Looks like they just rebranded and changed the color of the base. But works just the same as the hum toothbrush. Great buy and great deal!

This could not be any better! I have told everyone I know about it and I guarantee you that this will change brushing with your kids! My kids are 5 & 9 and both are autistic. Now they brush better than any kids their age!
My ONE recommendation is that you up the brush time to 3 minutes, otherwise it goes so fast in each section that it’s hard to get a perfect score in the it’s hard to follow. You can change it in the parent section. You can also turn off the music. 🔇 Three minutes is the perfect speed to keep up and get all the “germs.”
My kids are now excited to brush their teeth and this has to be one of the coolest things I have ever seen!!! It uses the colored dots on the bottom of the brush to determine what way they rotate the toothbrush. I am blown away that for around $10 you can get the brush and the free app. Plus you can change out the brush with ANY 5+ Colgate kids toothbrush.
We have struggled so much with my 9yo because he won’t let us help or even guide him with brushing. We bought the sonicare kids brush and it did nothing to help. He gets really mad if you even tell him to brush a certain area but he would brush in one spot the entire time. He was getting cavities and already had crowns on some of his teeth. I was nervous that MAGIK app would make him mad if it said he wasn’t brushing all the areas, but he worked really hard to figure out how to turn his brush all of the different directions. I’m so proud of both kids!!!
MAGIK vs SONICARE KIDS:
We all use sonicares and I have purchased 3 sonicare kids brushes that have an app, but it just distracts them because they want to play with it. The game part has nothing to do with brushing and the only “special” thing it does with bluetooth is that it starts the brushing guide. When you turn the toothbrush off, it pauses the guided video. I like the visual but it doesn’t do any good if the kids don’t follow it. It’s over 4x the price of the MAGIK Brush at $40 each, every sonicare we bought lasted less than a year before making a horribly loud noise when they were in use and we couldn’t handle it anymore. 🔊🎧
