The label on this says a serving size is one scoop, but it’s missing a scoop. I poked around with a spoon for a while but didn’t find any scoop. I don’t mind; I have lots of scoops from other supplements, and the world doesn’t need more plastic. I’m using a 25 cc scoop from something else. I’m guessing it’s probably about the right size.
To test how well this dissolves, I mixed 1 scoop of this collagen with ¼ cup cool water. This is a tough test; most brands of collagen dissolve best in hot water, and just clump in cool water. This collagen didn’t clump at all. I think it helps that it’s granular form, like sugar, not very fine and powdery like some brands. These granules are easier to scoop, not puffing up in a cloud of dust, and they mix with water easily instead of clumping. It took very little stirring for this to mix into the water, and then as it sat for a minute, it totally dissolved. Many brands dissolve this well only in hot water, so this brand is superior. Here’s a photo showing how clear it is after a minute in cool water.
I know that many people say that collagen has no taste, but to me, this has a meaty, savory flavor and umami taste, like other brands of collagen. It doesn’t have a distinctively fishy smell or flavor, but it’s definitely vaguely meaty. I enjoy it in savory foods like soup.

So far, I’m really liking this powder. I use collagen for skin hydration, and body aches and pains. I also believe that I have fewer and less painful migraines as long as I keep up on the collagen protein supplement. Typically, I use bovine skin source collagen. This is the first marine based powder I’ve used, and I can’t tell the difference. It seems to be working the same and has a simple flavour that is not detected in my coffee, smoothies or home-made sorbet. I sort of put it in anything to boost the value of what I’m eating. I hope this is true, and I feel better.
In my opinion, these powders are inflated in price. Lately everything is becoming expensive, but is it worth it? I say buy the best product you can for the price, and ounce for ounce there are collagen powders that are more affordable.
4 stars. Reduction of one star for the high price, otherwise a good product that have the desired health result.

This fast dissolving powder is a great way to boost your Type 1 collagen and protein intake with an impressive amino acid profile. With only a hint of collagen flavor when mixed with water, it is undetectable in smoothies and other beverages. My wife loves this too for its skin and hair benefits, and is always having me mix her some with in water with lemon and ginger juice.
What’s equally impressive is what it doesn’t have. The only ingredient is Collagen Peptides and at 40 calories a serving it is natural, gluten-free, non-GMO, and KETO-friendly.

I drink collagen almost every day as my no carb morning meal. My favorite collagens add a nice creamy head to my morning cup of coffee. Collagen, ghee, MCT Oil and coffee in a bullet blender for 10 seconds is delicious. But this collagen is not as good as most that I have tried. First off, it has an odd smell that is a bit plasticky in nature. Next, it is a very coarse grind and does not dissolve as easily. And finally, even after blending, it separates out of my coffee and instead of a nice creamy head I get a layer of shiny bubbles on my coffee. There is also a bit of an odd aftertaste, but it is mostly flavorless while drinking it.

My wife has been exploring supplements that might help her build her bone density since she was recently diagnosed with osteoporosis. Apparently collagen supplements might be helpful for this, and so she has been trying different ones to see if they might help. This one was not one of her favorites. It had a distinctly fish-like flavor that she found mildly unpleasant, and while it is impossible to tell what impact it has had on her bone density, we have noted that she is leaving hair in the shower again while taking this, something that had stopped happening while she was using other collagen supplements.

This is a pretty good collagen because of the fact it’s marine and so known
to have superior bio-ability than other types of collagen
because of it’s smaller peptides.
However – one aspect I look for is that the collagen is also Hydrolyzed =
broken down in more easily dis-solvable amino acids.
> This collagen hasn’t had that process.
So while it’s good because it’s marine = it could’ve been better.
The collagen easily dissolves / mixes pretty well.
The container is only 20 – 11 grams servings with the included scoop.
This product may seem pricey to some, but marine collagen is generally higher priced
so to me the cost seems average.

This one container almost costs $30.00 as of this review. I think it’s good quality, flavorless collagen, but I’ve reviewed good quality flavorless collagen for less money. It dissolves very well in hot coffee and I can’t detect that it’s even there. There’s no flavor at all and that makes this collagen very easy to consume. One container will last me about two weeks when put in my daily coffee.
