Heivy’s Uplift Marine Collagen supplement comes in a box with 10 brown glass bottles with safety-sealed screw-on metal caps. I’m pretty impressed with the solid, glass packaging. They were delivered in a flimsy envelope and nothing was broken.
Note, these are made in Taiwan; manufactured and sold in Queens, NY for Felicific Inc., per the box.
The flavor and smell profile: Smells, looks, and tastes like (fermented/hard) apple cider. Yummy. Not what I was expecting at first blush with words like fish collagen. Each bottle has a 1.69oz serving. I poured it into a glass the first time I took it so I could see what it looked like. It has a lovely medium, otherwise clear, amber color, per my included images.
I think in terms of anti-glycation and anti-aging, they should be very clear that these claims are not intended to reverse but to prevent. Otherwise, they should just promote it as a collagen and energy supplement.
Glycation is a nonenzymatic chemical reaction whereby sulfhydryl protein linkages are replaced by glucose, causing impairment in normal cellular and tissue functions. Glycation occurs when insulin doesn’t metabolize sugars properly, destroys the collagen in blood vessels (collagen is a structural protein found all over the body, not just in the skin). Several antiaging skincare products, for example, claim to treat glycation, but – unfortunately – glycation is not a reversible reaction. It must be prevented in the first place. This is done through diet. Fruits and veggies, as well as things like dark chocolate and tea, have powerful antioxidants that help protect cells from glycation. It is also recommended people limit their intake of red meats, fried foods, some cheeses, butter, oils, nuts, and other AGEs (Advanced Glycation End Products). I would say this product would likely aid in preventing glycation. But be mindful this is a preventative measure, not a means of reversing preexisting glycation.
Anti-aging is a bit of a stretch too, but I don’t see any harm in supplementing collagen. Taking collagen is associated with a number of health benefits and very few known risks. Collagen supplements have been shown to improve skin health, promote rebuilding of muscle mass, prevent bone loss, and relieve joint pain. This supplement offers up 5,000mg or 5g or marine-sourced collagen. It is also sweetened with erythritol, sucralose, steviol glycosides (Stevia), and flavored with apple juice concentrate. The rest of the nutritional and ingredient information can be seen in my included images of the box.
The price point: for the quality packaging, yummy flavor, seemingly good formula, and the number of servings (10 bottles), this is a very nice but also expensive collagen supplement (~$49 at the time of purchase). Cost is subjective, but if I wanted to take these every day or every other day, it would get really expensive for me to do so. Per the post, at the time of purchase, a 30-day supply would run you about $135.
If nothing else, I would give the single 10 bottle kit a try and see if it is worth it. But there are equally good, less expensive supplements on the market too that offer up more than just copious amounts of collagen.
Update: I had to stop using this because the apple concentrate (which commonly causes digestive upset for some people, because of the amount of sugar, etc.) resulted in a nasty bout of diarrhea after taking these (as instructed) daily for a few days in a row.

As I’m working towards incorporating collagen in my daily diet, I was excited to see this product and anxious to try it! As a celiac sufferer, I always read as much information as is available on a product, and look at all of the pictures checking for ingredient lists etc. In the picture showing the front of the box, it is very clear that there is a large gluten-free circular symbol. None of the product pictures show the actual back of the box where ingredients and nutrition information are listed but I foolishly assumed that the gluten-free symbol meant it was actually gluten-free. Not! On the back of the box is the warning that it is manufactured in a facility that processes many of the seven most common allergens including, wheat! Sadly, I cannot even try this product since I am unwilling to take the chance that that cross-contamination will make me sick. As a very sensitive celiac sufferer, eating or drinking a product that is cross-contaminated Will make me extremely sick for several days and dealing with the aftermath and the symptoms for 4 weeks. Not worth it. This company should be ashamed of It’s irresponsibility and potentially putting people in danger 😞

This is magic! I feel like it works for me! Even my husband said I looked fresh and behaved more positive. It’s a bit pricey but overall worth the value. And thought it smells like medicine, it’s easy to take as the flavor is sweet and fruity.

the texture is more better than other supplement drinks. My skin was dry before it and it getting more moisturize and smooth after I drink it for one weeks. I would recommend it!

These taste great! I was very surprised, I was expecting a chalky taste but it was good. It’s slightly fruity. Did it work? Uh no. I don’t feel any difference in any stress and I don’t think it made me look remotely younger, the very few fine lines I have are still here. Maybe you need to do this more than the boxed amount? I don’t know but at this price, I can’t afford to keep seeing.

These Uplift Collagen shots are pretty pricey for what you get, moreso than others out there. There is 5g of marine collagen in each bottle shot. Everything else, the amounts are so negligible, that they aren’t even mentioned on there, so I am guessing though it has GABA, it is probably at 1mg or less.
The taste is decent, and these shots go down easy, but, they only have 5g of Marine collagen, and 38mg of Vitamin C. Daylily and GABA are mentioned on the front of the package, but no amounts are listed for either one of them.
Pretty pricey for 10 days of, 5g of Marine Collagen, and 38mg of Vitamin C.
