The importance of collagen for skin health (and anti-aging!) are pretty well known. I started collagen supplementation when my doctor told me that we lose about 1% of our collagen yearly in adulthood. That spurred me into trying collagen powder. But, collagen powder seems to taste awful to me, no matter how I try to hide it in smoothies, coffee, or food.
These capsules solve the problem. They give you the collagen you’re lacking without a nasty taste. The capsules are fairly large, but easy to swallow. They recommend three per day.
Supplement ingredients
Bovine (cow) collagen is by far the biggest source of collagen in these supplements, but they also contain eggshell membrane, chicken broth, and fish-derived collagen.
There are other beneficial anti-aging ingredients like hyaluronic acid, which binds to water molecules and helps your skin stay moisturized and young-looking. HA is the main ingredient in dermal fillers, which are super pricey, so I’m always happy to supplement my HA naturally and maybe extend my time between fillers.
The supplements are also meant to help jump-start your metabolism using paradise seed extract.
My results
I got this mainly for the collagen and its anti-aging properties, and I think my skin has definitely benefited after about a month and a half of use (on my second bottle now). One thing I’ve noticed is that fine lines, which normally linger a bit after wrinkling my brow, go away faster, so I’m loving that!
I haven’t noticed any obvious energy or metabolism changes yet, however.

I have taken other “burn” supplements and felt them working (increased temp, heart rate slightly elevated, and loss or decrease of hunger). With these, I don’t notice the burn, but for the collagen and other ingredients, I’ll still be finishing them. Basically tasteless and easy to swallow.

I’ve been taking hydrolyzed collagen powder for a few years now, to improve the health of my skin, hair, nails, and joints. I just stir it into my coffee or tea every morning. This is the first time that I’ve taken collagen in capsules. It’s an easy way to take it, and I like that it contains an extra blend of nutrients. It’s mainly hydrolyzed bovine collagen, with a tiny amount of chicken broth, eggshell membrane, and fish hydrolyzed collagen.
I didn’t order it for the weight loss or burn benefit, as I’m already underweight, but it hasn’t decreased my appetite at all. In fact, I’ve felt more hungry since I started taking it, a week ago. No weight gain or loss.
I appreciate that it’s non-GMO, made in the USA, gluten, and dairy free, and the expiration date is almost two years out. This seems to be a great quality supplement that I would order again.
