It’s kind of a tiny bottle but if you need more than what is in the bottle then your problem isn’t the Colace. I think it’s a fair price for what you pay. I have been plugged up with another side issue and this hit surprisingly fast.

I have suffered from constipation and irregularity my whole life. Now I’m pregnant and you can only imagine. First of all let me list off the things that haven’t worked for me- Metamucil, magnesium citrate drinks, magnesium tablets/bath soaks, dolcalax- pills or suppositories, senna. Probably more but that’s all I can think of. Most of these just made me extremely gassy and made me cramp after taking them but didn’t produce anything. The only thing that has gotten me relief has been enemas and they are by no means pleasant. My doctor suggested this colace 2/1 and I thought it probably won’t work just like all the other stuff but I’ll give it a try.
But the Colace 2-in-1 Stool Softener & Stimulant Laxative Tablets are actually gentle on my bowels. (Everyone is different and I have bowels of steel so take this with a grain of salt) and do the job perfectly for me. I take 2 at night before bed and can usually go the next day, in the morning I’m pretty gassy and I can usually go by noon. Everyone is different like I said but definitely worth a shot for the chronic constipators. Also drink lots of water to get it moving and get your digestive system moving.

My NP recommended that I try this. I was skeptical at first as I’ve tried everything else and nothing seemed to work for me. This works and it doesn’t cost much. Definitely my new staple!
