I asked in Questions (Amazon Answers) whether this Codage Lipsomal CoQ10 is yeast-free and received an email answer from the seller that it is. (I prefer to see that stated on the bottle.)
A reviewer (S. Villigran) questions the efficacy of the type of liposomal delivery employed, saying that the phosphatidylcholine (in sunflower oil, per the label) liposomal coating, is best deployed in a water-based solution. And S. Villigran asserted that it’s quickly dispelled from the bloodstream in the case of this supplement, because it’s not in a water-based solution. When I look at my bottle of another dry-capsule supplement, Optimunity Liposomal Vitamin C, it is showing phosphatidylcholine under the active ingredient, “Vitamin C (as a 1500mg Vitamin C fat soluble complex)”. A quick online search netted an article from the NIH called ‘Choline for Health Professionals’ in which it says, “The most common sources of choline in foods are the fat-soluble phospholipids phosphatidylcholine and sphingomyelin as well as the water-soluble compounds phosphocholine, glycerolphosphocholine, and free choline.” In that quote, is says phosphatidylcholine is fat soluble, not water soluble. Seems like this contradicts S. Villigran’s assertion that phosphatidylcholine is best deployed in a water based solution, but as I’m not a health pro, my opinion shouldn’t be considered definitive. But my faith in the liposomal delivery method in this Codage Lipsomal CoQ10 or my Vitamin C supplement has NOT been shaken. I’ll continue to take both supplements until I learn more about this issue.
I’ve been taking CoQ10 for almost 20 years, and I’m pleased to have this Codage branded supplement in liposomal form. This review gave me a chance to do a little lay research on liposomal delivery methods, and that’s a good thing for me.

As someone who is always looking to improve my heart health, I was interested in this CoQ10 supplement because of its liposomal delivery system, which promises better and more efficient absorption. This formula contains 125mg of coenzyme Q10 per serving, combined with vitamin E and its isomers, which are known for their potential to support cellular health and act as antioxidants to protect cells from oxidative damage.

I could not find any information about this in the description or on Codeage’s website.

Codeage also states that this supplement is non-GMO, dairy, soy, and gluten-free, making it suitable for individuals with dietary restrictions or preferences.
While it is possible to obtain some of the ingredients in this supplement from a regular diet, this supplement makes it convenient for those who may not be able to obtain sufficient amounts through food alone. It is also important for people taking statins, which can quickly deplete the body’s CoQ10 levels.
Overall, I think this is a good CoQ10 supplement, although I still have questions about the dosage, but this seems to be a comprehensive and high-quality supplement that offers numerous benefits for heart health and energy production.

I got this because I have had this company on my radar lately because they keep coming up with supplement solutions to maximize performance. This Liposomal CO-Q10 and Vitamin E is a perfect example. So there are two main and similar benefits with Co-Q10 and Vitamin E. The first being energy !
Simply said You can’t make energy without them. There is no argument on that fact. CO-q10 in the mitochondria specifically in the Krebb’s cycle (aka citric acid cycle) transports electrons (dropped off from NADH) to complex 1 and then to complex 2 and finally to complex 3 where two energy units (ATP/ Adenosine Triphosphate) are produced. So no transporting those electrons means no energy possible. And vitamin E maintains the structure and function of this entire process. As we get older our C0-Q10 goes down so supplementing is a great way (may) to get back that lost energy.
Now here is the problem. They both are not water soluble. They require fat ( so take after a meal). And even then we need the sun and the moon and the stars to align ( right kind, quantity fat, temperature, metabolic rate, and functionality of gut microbiome) to get this past the stomach acid and have a meaningful absorption rate. Solution Liposomal. This protects with a casing or cover of some type to get it past the danger zone so more (may ) is absorbed and used.
Benefit # 2. Great Antioxidant. The vitamin E isomers can spread out and attack in different ways and different forms the bad things (oxidized radicals). Co Q-10 is super healthy ( may) for the heart and wow what great skin. And in gums with gingivitis and periodontitis there was improvement in just three weeks in one study(may).
So this IMO is a great way to get back some of that energy and really enhance that immune system (may). We have it liposomal to give us faith it got absorbed (still take with food) and we have a good dosage amount. I like 200mgs so I will need only two of these caps. If you take statins you may need more as they decrease coQ-10 in the blood (may). These are easy to take and I had no sides. Awesome product and all 5 stars ! Hope this was helpful !
