  • Scrubbing Clay is a scrub made with upcycled coffee grounds that would have otherwise gone to waste! This creamy clay bath scrub smooths, clarifies, and supports the microbiome, rinsing off with a silky feel.
  • Along with antioxidant-rich coffee, Scrubbing Clay contains Prebiotic Chicory Root and Red Clay to balance the skin while deeply cleansing and removing excess oil, dirt and impurities.
  • For best results, while showering, massage the body exfoliating scrub in circular motions all over your body to slough away dead skin. Use up to 3x a week. Or, leave on for two minutes as a acne body scrub and mask before rinsing!
  • Scrubbing Clay is a sustainable and recyclable coffee scrub. To recycle, twist off the cap and cut open the top of the sugarcane tube. Rinse well and toss the tube in your recycling bin. Unfortunately, the cap is not recyclable due to its small size.
  • COCOKIND: Skin care products that are earth-friendly without compromising on formulation. Our products are meant to gently deliver the function they promise as well as hydration and skin barrier support, which we believe leads to glowy, happy skin

This gets rid of dead skin and leaves it feeling soft and smells amazing, like coffee. This has an “excellent” score on Yuka if you use it. Clean ingredients so you can feel good about putting it on your body.

Been using this for over a month and I like it! I don’t see a huge improvement in my skin but it smells good and my skin feels a little softer. It does leave a messy residue all over your bathtub but basically all coffee body scrubs do.

In love this brand of everything!!

I have tried a few different coffee scrubs before. In my experience, they are always messy. This one was surprisingly not as messy as other ones I have tried. It still has the coffee grounds in the bottom of the shower effect, but it was noticeably less than others I’ve tried.

The consistency was creamy with the grounds adding the exfoliating factor. The bottle said you could leave it on longer and use it as a mask or just use it as a scrub. I liked it as just a scrub. I also really liked that it had the scent of coffee, but it wasn’t overpowering. I like to take showers at night, and this didn’t wake me up too much with the coffee smell.

I like that the ingredients are clean and the company is transparent. I’ve tried Cocokind products before and I really like them. I would purchase this again.

Works Great, I have oily skin and this works well to remove dead skin cells etc.

This body scrub is just okay; I had higher expectations for it. The smell is very nice, like a subtle non-artificial coffee scent. The scrubbing particles themselves are fairly coarse but distributed sort of sparsely throughout the cream, which means you have to disperse a lot to get very much exfoliation out of it. This is also not helped by the fact that the cream base is pretty thin and spreads out a lot on wet skin; I think it would be better if the texture was thicker and “stuck” to the skin better while rubbing it in. You also have to be careful while rinsing it off: there were a couple spots that I didn’t notice had gotten on my shower wall, and the scrub stained it a little. I like that the scrub is not too abrasive and doesn’t dissolve right away while massaging with it, but I won’t be repurchasing after I use it up.

This coffee scrub is a light, creamy consistency out of the tube. It smells lightly of coffee grounds, but for me mostly of the clay base. There are quite a bit of coffee grounds in the product and they’re big enough to do the job of exfoliating. You will see those grounds in your shower afterwards. 🙂

Even though it’s a fairly large tube, I find that I use quite a bit (about 10-15g) to cover the area I want – mostly arms, sides and legs. This will come out to around 15 uses for the tube.

To make the product go farther and easier to work with, I’ve been using a small pocket of loofa-type material to apply the scrub to my body (the pocket is really meant to hold a bar of soap). I also pause the water so it doesn’t rinse off right away – directions recommend up to 3x per week and can leave on for up 2 minutes before rinsing.

I feel like it does a great job of exfoliating and my skin does feel softer afterwards. I also think it’s helped with the bumps on my arms.

I think this is a quality scrub – the ingredients are plant based and seem to work well. I’ve had no adverse reactions at all. I think it could be used by lots of people with differing skin types.

    3.5 stars rounded up

I love this scrub especially for an exfoliant before shaving. Definitely a little messy in the shower though.
