Well, if you don’t read the label very carefully, you would think it’s 60 servings of CoQ10 per bottle. But no, if you use the suggested by my doctor and de-facto standard daily serving size 300 mg per day then you would need to take not 1 softgel but 3 because each softgel contains only 100 mg of CoQ10. Why not clearly mark this on the label in large and bold letters and print “100 mg per softgel”? If you don’t read everything carefully, the writing on the bottle makes you believe that you are getting 60 servings, which would be an awesome deal for $10 (at the time of this review) but it turns out that it is 3 times more expensive. But still, it’s a fair deal, just not as good as I thought when ordering.
The product itself is fine, softgels are small, soft and easy to swallow but you have to swallow 3 of them for daily dosage. Both me and my wife tried them and think they are fine. Actually, I prefer to take one pill a day instead of 3. Therefore, I’m going to stick with my old brand I’m using, which costs about the same per serving and gives me 300 mg in each softgel. But my wife actually prefers to take small 100 mg softgels instead because they are much smaller than 300 mg and it’s much easier for her to swallow. So, it is all about your own preference, the product itself is fine. We have tried these softgels for a couple of days now, so it is too early to talk about health benefits, but I am very optimistic for them. As time passes and we can feel any noticeable changes, I’ll update this review.
A few words about CoQ10 itself and why you may want to take it as a supplement. Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is an antioxidant that your body produces naturally. Your cells use CoQ10 for growth and maintenance. Levels of CoQ10 in your body decrease as you age. CoQ10 levels have also been found to be lower in people with certain conditions, such as heart disease, and in those who take cholesterol-lowering drugs called statins. CoQ10 is found in meat, fish and nuts. The amount of CoQ10 found in these dietary sources, however, isn’t enough to significantly increase CoQ10 levels in your body. CoQ10 might help prevent or treat certain heart conditions, as well as migraine headaches.

Yes, I do recommend this CoQ10 supplement. The product itself is fine, the softgels are small and easy to swallow, and its shelf life is 3 years. But it’s somewhat misrepresented, misleading you into thinking that you are buying 60 servings, while in reality you are buying only 20 (if you take 300 mg CoQ10 per doctor’s recommendation). Therefore, I’m going to give it 4 stars.
